    The Classic TV Thread

In that case, mark me down for The Golden Girls, Friends, Colombo, Murder She Wrote, M*A*S*H, Empty Nest, Seinfeld, Hogan's Heroes, actually, never mind, if I tried to list all the great classics TV shows I've watched and loved we'd be here all day. :P

    The Classic TV Thread

Quick question - when we say 'classic' television, what years are we talking about here? When is the cut off date?

The New What Made You Frown Today Thread

I don't know where else to post this, but my grandpa seems to be on the final stretch towards death. He's 89, just celebrated his birthday in May, and he had a long and productive life, but still, there's a lot of memories that have run through my mind and it's sad to see him on the final plane out.

    Sesame Street Jokes

I'm familiar with Sherlock Holmes, heck I've read every story through at least thrice, and yet I still don't get the reference.

    Fellow Church People

He probably just used the wrong word for it. Going by a biblical standpoint, God knows everything you'll ever do, including accepting salvation. It's not predestined, he just knows what'll happen in advance before it happens. Maybe it is predestined, but not by God, he just knows. IDK. The...

West Nile, Swine Flu, Meningitis, and Sequelitis

I was actually talking about Cars and most movie franchises as a whole. Don't really have an opinion on Toy Story 4. I'll probably watch it and enjoy it, 'cuz that's what I do with films. :P

West Nile, Swine Flu, Meningitis, and Sequelitis

Yeah, I too agree that three is enough. Unless of course they come up with a really great plot for a fourth movie... ;) Personally, both films were great. The first one focused on charm, the second focused on action and charm. The twist was a pretty good one, IMO. Heck, even Roger Elbert liked...

    RIP Adam West

Lots of people say that Christian Bale is the best Batman. Not true. I love The Dark Knight and all, but nothing beats the 60s series. RIP

West Nile, Swine Flu, Meningitis, and Sequelitis

Going by the thread title I thought this thread was about disease. :P Lemme just say that I for one am looking forward to Cars 3. It's a franchise my family has loved since the first film came out. I can see why people dislike it, but personally I'd all it Pixar's hidden gem. Great morals...

    The "You know what?" thread

If they were running out of ideas, we probably wouldn't be seeing so many movies and TV shows, would we now?

    The Official Top 10 Anything...

Huh, I could've come up with some real life moments in my childhood that were scarier than events on TV. :P

    When you need to rant...

I wouldn't say that - as a stand-up, Williams was still huge afterwords, and in fact, I feel that his 2000s work is his all-time best. Weapons of Self-Destruction is one of the funniest albums / specials I've ever heard or seen.

    When you need to rant...

Yeah, reminds me of a quote of his - "Jesus, he's not gonna attack the children, is he?! Yes he is! And remember, this Mr. Conductor talking - I know what I'm talking about!" Personally, I'm fine with the whole SNL / comedians voicing characters. I could care less.
