Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Oh yeah definitely, I mean it all ties together for me, like they put it at the Fraggle wrap party, "We're the work and play of you who made us real." :)
I honestly didn't think I was going to cry during this movie but when Kermit said, "Or did something break we can't repair?" I definitely felt the welling up, lol. Because it reflected my own uncertain state of mind about the Muppets for a long time. And to see them kinda wondering the same...
That's why I really identified with Julie Andrews' song to Kermit: "I'm so glad that you love me too...cause I've loved you since you were a tadpole and I was a fish." :)
Yeah movies have always been a big memory trigger for me (and probably for most people). For a split second you are...
Oh man, I was just going to watch the scene of Kermit and Piggy's wedding from MTM because it always is so moving. But I swear before I even clicked on the link, I saw the phrase "Kermit and Piggy Get Married" and instantly started tearing up, lol. It's incredible how much raw emotion they...
I definitely remember my Mom telling me about World of Jim Henson, I had it on tape for years. When I was even younger I was practically raised on the Henson's Place documentary, that's how I knew who Jim Henson and Frank Oz were, lol. It never ruined the Muppets for me, it was just more to...
Lol, thanks glad you liked! It was pretty funny, especially when Kermit started really getting into the game, lol. I guess he liked being on the other side of things for once! ;)
Sounds cool, Hubert, I'd love to check it out when it's done. :)
You know I haven't thought of this in awhile but a few years ago I had a dream where Kermit was depressed and bored so he was walking around the Muppet Show theater and discovered one of Scooter's computer games. The object of the game: the more ways you get what you want because your Uncle owns...
I'm on the fence. Obviously you shouldn't judge anyone too much because that takes time away from what you should be doing, judging yourself, hehe. But on the other hand, in some ways it's not that different from the Occupy Wall Street people protesting the fats cats. Celebs are insanely...
But at the same time there are many people who worked just as hard but just lacked one thing: luck. Celebs are professionals in their field and that's good but just because they hit it big doesn't mean they worked any harder than anyone else. There were indeed a million others who could have...
I think people see celebs as the equivalent of the popular kids in High School who were treated like royalty for no reason and always seemed to get away with things.
And that's not too far off. They're basically treated like America's version of royalty and it is ridiculous.
Oh trust me, this kind of thing happens in every state. I know California's got the reputation, but it's hardly got the monopoly on reckless driving (or people getting away with it).
Well you can't trust any addicts. Plus she (along with anyone else in that condition) should not be allowed the privilege to drive a vehicle. It's insane how lenient we are about that.
I'd agree except for the multitude of horrific remakes of nostalgic TV shows and movies Hollywood keeps horrifying us with. They don't seem to care about a nostalgic fan base in those (many) cases.
