I am SOOOOOO psyched about Return of the King. Lord of the Rings is my favorite book, and I was so thrilled when I first heard about this trilogy. I'm holding off on the DVD until the 4-DVD set comes out in November. I can't wait!!!!!! :crazy: Erin

Johnny and Sal added a lot of fun Muppety touches to the telethon while performing their announcing duties for several hours this morning. Bear performed three songs about an hour ago, and he was a hit! The kids loved him and he did a terrific cha-cha! :) Erin

Johnny and Sal were just on! Only for a minute, they were introducing the next act, a duo of dancers. But they caught my attention! We're tuned in to the telethon and will probably just leave it running all day so I'll probably see more of them! :) Erin

I've never heard of these but they sound great. I used to have a few that unfortunately went by the wayside. I loved The Monster at the End of this Book - always lots of fun! We also had a book featuring Oscar dressing up and pretending to be a little girl who had just moved to Sesame Street...

It gets weirder... Just before this guy robbed the bank, he delivered a pizza to somebody's house. He went straight from this house to robbing the bank apparently. And this morning, a friend and co-worker of his at the pizza place was found dead this morning. Could be a strange coincidence...

I know. It's really sad - and scary, too. From the sounds of things this was just some ordinary guy who wound up in the wrong place at the wrong time... All the local stations had the whole thing on video tape because they were there after the bank robbery, but they decided that it was too...

Yes, this really happened. My mom and I didn't find out about it until later because we were inside the mall at the time, but I think people standing around outside the mall heard the explosion. It's been the headline story on the news all day... Erin

That's really cool that the date worked out like that! :) My Disney collection is in major need of an update. I own far less on video than I want to, and now with DVDs... jeepers, I think the only one I have on DVD is Pete's Dragon (good one to have, though ;) )! Oh, and Piglet's Big Movie, but...

While my mom and I were at the mall yesterday, just up the street a guy walked into the PNC bank and robbed it, saying that he had a bomb strapped to his chest. Police apprehended him outside moments later, but he told them he had a bomb strapped to him so they backed away and called the bomb...

Ah, well, I certainly wouldn't mind the money!! But I have no idea what I would do with that much... Erin
