Any Muppet news from Toy Fair 2011?

That'd be amazing if they released that, two best darn characters on the show IMHO. Where did you get information on those? I'd love to also see 4" action figures akin to the 1985 Tara Toys figures. But man, yes indeedy anything Murray(or Ovejita, or Hoots, or Telly or Honkers, or Martians)...

Theories why Bear came to an end

Well, we live in an ultra pc world now. Elmo and Rosita's dad can come back scarred and wounded from fighting in wars...but "Sesame Street Old School" dvd has to come with a disclaimer to parents(because *gasp* it shows kids playing in a real ghetto in live action clips, not the fake inner...

    The New Movie: The Muppets

Interesting...seems like filming just began, but I forgot that this is a non cg filled film that started principal in November. So that sounds about right. Aside from some additional pickups, that sounds accurate. I'd probably go see a movie just to see the teaser for it:)

    The New Movie: The Muppets

Shia seems like a very kind, likeable fellow. I love how he openly dissed on TFROTF(or "Bayformers 2") and Indy 4. I almost wanted to walk out of both, and it's nice to hear him speak his mind. Like everyone else, I'd love a third Ghostbusters. I mean if they can make a new Tron film after...

The Jim Henson Company Puppets to perform at the 2011 Grammys

Is it me or did the puppets seem like something out of The Jim Henson Hour? Woulda been cool if it had been some actual Muppet Show characters...but cool nonetheless Preach it! Land of Gorch, La Choy Dragon, Kermit the Frog, Wembley Fraggle, Telly Monster, Tutter Mouse, Mopatop, Hoobs...

The Jim Henson Company Puppets to perform at the 2011 Grammys

I agree. I don't care if it's 1975 or 2075, non creature shop puppets from the Jim Henson Company will always be "Muppets" to most of us. I mean shoot, they use quite a number of Muppet puppets for Stuffed and Unstrung and the former Puppet Up.

    The New Movie: The Muppets

Actually theres a few black comedians on SNL, heck they even have an Arab girl on there now. Keenan strangely STILL looks like he's 15, even tho he's about my age. I hate to say it, but I LOVE "Good Burger", heh Ha, even stevens...never knew how big Shia would get

Theories why Bear came to an end

Man, I have such fond memories of near panic attack moments at the end boss and desperately needing a continue to finish the game. Or joining in on TMNT with people you dont even know, but instantly becoming comrades for the game. Looking at my 33 years of life, I genuinely would have to say the...

The dark day of Valentines Day is upon us...

To the folks being glum about being single...isn't being single better than feeling stuck with someone you feel trapped with or incompatible with? Or someone who you have major drama with? For those who feel excluded/upset about Valentines day, one has to wonder if anyone really takes the...

    The New Movie: The Muppets

Yes! I swear, the rise of the conservative talk show/cable network media in the last few years and Sam the Eagle has never been used to spoof that...strange. Though we did get that grouch Muppet guest on Bill O'reilly

    The New Movie: The Muppets

Just wanted to say, not all teen comedies on tv are bad. I submit: Saved by the Bed, Boy Meets World, Clarissa Explains It All, All That, Keenan And Kell, etc. All fine programs of which I would gladly own the boxsets of. Yet, you're right...there's something so artificially bright and garish...

Something that's really kinda bugged me about the Muppet/Fraggle comics

Oh yeah! I forgot about Dave Alverez! I remember when he was posting his own versions of Muppet strips. I'm glad he got hired on, and I love seeing examples of Muppet fans getting hired into some form of the industry(be it toys, merchandise, writing, or even with JHC and Disney) Well shoot...

Why isn't Kevin Clash given other roles?

Me too! This is the third theatrical full length Sesame Street documentary that has premiered at Sundance Film Festival in recent years, the others being "The World According to Sesame Street"(which is hard to watch in parts due to the subject matter), and "When Muppets Dream of Peace"

    Questions About The Toy Industry

They canceled TMNT 2k3 episodes for being "too violent"? Geez, in one of the season 1 episodes Shredder gets beheaded, and earlier in the season Shredder kills his own henchmen. He even beheads Baxter Stockman. I mean by season 2, TMNT had broken all taboos...a far cry from "Teenage Mutant...

    Questions About The Toy Industry

Oh I'm all about the late 80's. Not a day goes by where I don't wish it was 1988. (or 1987-early 1990) Be it late 80's Muppets, video games, sitcoms, movies, etc I am forever in awe of that magical time period. And oh do I have some very very fond memories of the Turtles from that time...

What if the New Muppet Movie's Villain had a Muppet Sidekick?

I have noticed some projects reference other projects(like you said, VMX with the TMM Doc Hopper thing) But as I've always said, the only consistent Muppet "continuity" is that all Muppets are just actors. This new movie coming out sounds like it comes closest to establishing this fact in it's...

    Questions About The Toy Industry

The early-mid 90's was such a wonderful, wonderful time for figures. The 80's was all about puny 3 3/4" figures...the late 90's through most of 2000's was big grostesque Mcfarlane figures. But 1990-1996=pure bliss. Toy Biz(noone can tell me the 92-96 era Marvel figures werent amazing), Tyco...

Theories why Bear came to an end

I was just thinking recently how I miss simplicity. Case in point dude: I went to this local massive electronic store yesterday with a friend. We spent over an hour there, as he was intent on buying some sort of box that syncs up all the internet, blu ray and other stuff into a centralized...
