See I should clarify. Just because I may not want to revisit a painful story again doesn't mean I thought the series or the ending was bad. If anything it means the story did its job in getting an emotional response from me. :)

I have to admit I can be the same way. It's hard to get the bad taste out of your mouth sometimes. You don't want to go through all the emotions again knowing it will end badly. You need some kind of hope.

I think you're right. I just think the concern is always that if a TV show doesn't deliver the big satisfaction in the end, the fans will revolt. I think that's another reason why things end up going big.
No I get what you're saying. I think that's pretty typical of most TV shows that have "the big ending." There's this sense of having to be all epic and huge because "it's the last one; have to go out big!"

Well earlier in the movie they talk about how the bamboo princess first appeared from a bamboo tree. So I always kind of took it as the bamboo princess returning again.
Sorry guys I understand what you're saying but I stand where I was before on this. It's nearly impossible to legislate the "proper" way to post and I don't like singling people out on an open forum. I know no one is trying to hurt anyone's feelings but this kind of thing just ends up building up...
Gotcha, double wammy, lol. Though last time I was at the Disney Store I was really amazed with how much Muppet stuff they had and disappointed with FAO's collection, so perhaps it just depends on when you get there.
I'm glad that was true for others. For me, I had Kermit nightmares after seeing VMX. And not because the movie was deeper or darker or anything, it was just disturbing. Not in an artistic way, just in a disturbing way, lol.
