Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Ditto. The thing about Flash pages is the designer must not have too many simultaneous happenings on one page. This is an area where professionals fall as short as Flash amateurs. Corny as it sounds - it's another case of a "Flash over substance" issue. ;) A little bit of Flash usage goes a long...
People who don't like the Muppets usually have something wrong with them IMHO. I can't imagine that kind of person raising a happy child. I firmly believe that the more Muppets in peoples lives will reduce dependency on antidepressants. :attitude:
This decade began with hope for me and ended with hope, but the middle was mushy and disappointing. Learning from those mistakes and moving on to a better decade. The only stars in my eyes are practical goals that can be achieved with hard work and not short-cuts. :super:
My two cents on it.
Muppet Man seems to have some fantastical elements to it. The bits I read had some wonderful visuals. However, it's been noted that Jim had a great imagination, but did not live in it the way Muppet Man portrays him. In fact, Caroll Spinney mentioned specifically in his book...
There are so many gems they could load onto the Season Four, but I would really like some commentary. I don't see why they can't pick a couple of episodes and get Dave or Jerry or Steve to record some comments.
If I were at the beginning of this DVD project, I would have themed each season...
The Tees are attractive. I don't think they should pass the $30 mark, but that's Los Angeles for you. Sababa did such a great job with their mini Fraggle plush line that there's no excuse for these mushy-looking ones from Dr. Doozer. I'm glad something is being made and hopefully the quality...
Eek, I don't know what would have done that. Maybe it was the evil Shmermit Kermit.
Still, I do liken surfing DeviantArt to licking doorknobs in cold and flu season. Plus they have some of the slowest loading pages on the web!
I will seldom click n deviantArt link ever. It takes so little expense and effort to set up an easy to manage personal site that even a semi-professional should have one. It shows commitment to your chosen craft to potential clients. I'd sooner pick up an anonymous doodled-on damp cocktail...
You know, I can get you a free poster of Planet 51. Kidding of course, but I can usually tell the performance of a film from the free swag they use to promote it at little toy shops like the one I manage part-time. It's usually a bad sign when a rep supplies us with promotional articles right...
We all know awards don't always reflect quality, but this year's crop of Animated films is rather wide and it will make the Animated Feature Oscar section very exciting next year. I've seen most of these films, but what's the order you're rooting for? I'm digging the stop-motion and traditional...
Oooh! Actually Disney could sue if this was made available in the US. Not sure about Japan. The PMS colors in the clip art are identical to Kermit's. In essence, this is a poorly drawn Kermit with the inner eye designs swapped out, a pink nose added, a tuft of hair added and balls added to the...
It does now on the work computer. Thanks Phillip. I'll check it on others.
I've recommended the site to a lot of people in the last year who keep having this issue. Having a user type three extra Ws :( shouldn't be that hard, but peoples is peoples. :p
Many cartoon artists create these harmless background cameos. It's no biggie and it's usually done with a wink and a nod unless the characters are doing something distasteful.
