I think their concern is more that PBS is a Democrat leaning influence and that makes them nervous. That's all it comes down to for both parties, they don't want the other party to gain advantages.
Yeah pretty much, it was your typical desperate attempt at merchandising, hehe.
Btw here's an idea of what to expect, Freddy and "All I Have to Do is Dream." Freddy actually kinda sings towards the end...kinda, lol:
No I haven't, I'd like to look into that album for nostalgic purposes...
Yeah it was this bizarre 1980's album (I think it came out around the time of the third movie) which had Freddy (played by the real actor Robert Englund) singing some old pop standards and original songs with some studio back up singers and musicians. Truth be told it's mostly just the one...
I didn't get that from Obama at all. And again, not even a huge fan, lol.
Romney was breaking the rules, bullying the moderator and that means he "won?" On what planet?
He was panicking so he got desperate. And frankly I was shocked to see headlines that he'd "won." He seemed nervous and uncomfortable the whole time. And I'm not even a big Obama person.
Perhaps if we finally did get more "First Hubbies" I wouldn't mind so much. At least it would be equal opportunity "I got the job because of my spouse," lol.
And it's still pretty antiquated. The First Lady tends to end up with the family oriented projects, typical because she's the female.
Well it becomes about money when changes like that become excuses for the next DVD or Blu Ray.
Not to sound jaded, but money is pretty much always in the picture somewhere. That doesn't make them all bad people, that's just the way the business goes.
I have no opinion either way, the First Lady thing is a bit of an antiquated joke anyway in my opinion. You got the position, why? Because you were married to a guy with power. Yay for you, but you won't be my kid's role model...
Why do they do it?
1. Money.
2. Money.
3. Oh yeah they are sometimes more critical of their work than the general public is and think things need to be rectified.
4. Money. :D
What's funny is I didn't even notice when I saw this on TV as a kid. I mean I knew Jim Henson had passed away and I knew he performed Kermit, but somehow that didn't even occur to me when Kermit walked in and started talking. :)
For puppeteers in the NYC area, I noticed there's auditions for The Puppet Shakespeare Players doing "Puppet Romeo & Juliet." Auditions held on October 17 and 20th. Email ryan@puppetshakespeare.org.
