My new favorite show is My Name is Earl. Hilarious! I can not believe it was canceled. Very disappointing.

I think you can hava as many stars as new Ghostbusters as you want but it is Ray, Peter, Winston and Egon played by Akroyd, Murray, Hudson and Ramis that "legitimize" the project.

I think Piggy is a woman of the times and that she fits right in with other women of the 21st century. Look at how Joan Rivers has changed from the 70s. You have to keep yourself in the present.

I have to agree that this comes down to writing. Eric Jacobson's voice and mannerisms are almost perfect. If Piggy wasn't written as a diva Eric wouldn't perform her as one. It is that simple.
