I don't want to reject him either. But I will reject him as Kermit until I know that Steve absolutely could not be there. Until then, he's just the scapegoat for this--and yes, I feel bad for him, but no, I don't think he should continue if Steve is still willing and able to perform our frog.

So Kermit was nowhere to be seen other than on the red carpet. That is SO strange... but I'm not complaining at this point. As long as their only using Artie for small appearance things like this I guess it's better than having him star in the new movie. :smirk: Only time will tell.

That's right where I am. At this point I don't care about the bureaucracy... I just want to know what's happening. How can they expect to relaunch a franchise with the leading frog hung up like this?

There was no official confirmation. But it did sound like him in the song, and it did look like his hand in Kermit. BUT! Kermit never did speak. Also... they obviously aren't phasing out Rizzo (he was on the boat AND he's the poser puppet eFX is starting out with). I'm... shocked and appalled...

As reported from D23, Kermit will be appearing at the MTV Video Music Awards TONIGHT. I just saw him on the red carpet. He was in a limo and he kissed Lady Gaga, who recently made headlines WEARING Kermit... but I digress. Great to see him there! Can't wait to see what he's doing!
