as an aside, for anyone interested, the 2-disk, "Collector's Edition" of Wrath of Kahn was released last week. no-one really noticed because of LOTR, but i got it, and it really is worth getting! and it was only $20

i've seen a couple of the shots they've released, and i have to say...i'm not sure what to think. it looks promising, but the pics are small enough that it's hard to tell what i'm really seeing. from what i understand, though, it is CG but in 2 dimensions. like they did regular animation, but...

i can think of two, but neither are "public" shows. there's one coming up in vegas, but i really can't think of any of the details right now. i think it's more props than anything else. the other is Toyfair, and it's all the way in febuary. i think that's it until summer. depending on...
