Two of the local Disney stores near me reduced the Muppet section to a non descript cubby hole way in the back...the good news is hardly any merch is left which means the few things they got in sold. Bad news is, like 2004-2010, it looks like we're once again back to Disney not having much of a...
Nothing beats the fun of picking up a dvd in stores. Every single Muppet dvd since 2001 I've picked up the day of release in stores (including Ed Sullivan Best Of Muppets and the Lionsgate Henson Muppet releases) I'll miss physical media if it ever goes away.
Most Muppet video games have been dreadful. I did like Muppet Pinball Mayhem(GBA 2002), Muppets Inside CD Rom(PC, 1996) and a few of the levels on Muppet Mania Racing(PS1 1999) But other than that, to me they've been dreadful
Im shocked there hasnt been ANY Muppet game for the ds...I mean they...
Was at Toys R Us...all the FAO Muppet stuff is gone. Toy Story 3 and so much more just warming dem' pegs. Disneystore, same deal...a lot of the small Muppet pittance(a few ugly recycle bags and alluminum canisters besides the good plushes) were picked over.
I still stand by my view that Disney...
Im just not a fan of watching movies on super bright 55" wall mounted flat screens on blu ray. for gaming it's nice...i have well to do friends in the bay area(one of my friends is a couple that works for lucas) and they have all the latest technology. Gotta say I just prefer watching a dvd...
Oh! Dude...yeah like having to move or something that won't allow pets. Yeah that would royally suck. I've read your posts, it sounds like you've been through some really rough stuff in your life, and to cope you've woven a sort of safety net that works for you. It just pains me, as I know...
Companies will take a chance making merch for an untested, noones heard of kids movie...but NOT for one of the most beloved franchises for the last SIXTY years.
Thats the kind of world we live in
Sorry I cant get excited about Muppet snuggies, rubber bands and walmart keychains.
then why buy a blu ray player? If Im going to buy one, Id want to have the newest blu ray transfers/extras of Akira, LOTR trilogy, Matrix trilogy, the new Star Wars blu ray, Alien quadrilogy...thats thousands I dont have.
Um, LTS and Oz were telefilms. So a few extra seconds tacked on to something truncated for commercial time is different than a theatrical release. Very much doubt they'll do that.
Ive borrowed/been given "upgrades" people insisted I "had to have"...a Ps3, digital tablet for drawing, etc. Gave...
Right, and how much is the HDTV in order to get good use out of it? I have the perfect setup right now. I never liked Ps3 games(more into 360), and I like to play dvdrs, cdrs, etc in a dvd player.
Sorry, there's no comparing the massive leap from vhs to dvd. It's more like the leap from PS2 to PS3. Heck, for a lot of older movies it's like the leap between Gamecube and Wii. And what's the point of owning a blu ray player just to play my old dvds? Wouldnt I from a consumer psychological...
Big Bang Theory=best show on tv, Sheldon Cooper=best character on tv...cameo+muppets=gloriousness. Its so funny, the midnight and up talk shows are so much better than boring old Leno and Letterman
There was never any chance we'd get a "special extended cut", that only happens with pg 13 movies trimmed down from an R, or R's cut from "Unrated". (Unrated is often an NC-17 type film)
However, way too early to say if this will have deleted scenes and special features.
I think Disney knows...
You should start up a meetup.com or facebook page for other dog memorabilia collectors or just general canine enthusists. Shoot, I wish I could have a dog in my apartment. Everywhere I go I see people with their cute dogs(tho many look like they're very expensive)
Remember though, life is all...
While I'd rather 40k go to families in need or a charity, it would be nice to preserve it since MC couldnt raise the 7000 dollars to buy the real original Electric Mayhem bus on ebay in 1998(and thus, some other person bought it and the bus got torched to the ground)
Also it's hard watching the...
I think even a year ago we both remarked how most likely we wouldn't see any Muppet merchandise, even though first time franchises get all sorts of goodies out the gate. Just the way it is I guess.
