I'm not sure how effective it is when most of us can't tell if he's being sarcastic. :p The trouble, of course, is that there are many people who would say those things seriously. :concern: I liked Lieberman too, when he was running with Gore and on his own. I was rooting for him. Oh, well...

I agree. I understand the reasoning behind it, but I think in the end a straight popular vote just makes more sense. At least this year Bush won both, so there's no discrepancy. It would've been really ugly if he'd won the electoral but not popular again. Erin
