Has Caroll Spinney Ever Illustrated A Book?

I had forgotten how captivating and wonderful Spinney's illustrations were. It reminds me of some of my favorite Sesame Street illustrated books from the 1970's and 80's. Just wondering if he's done a book of these or where one could find more of these? From the new Life magazine, hattip to...

Ask Kermit: All About The Human Body book

It was 1996, when both Sesame Street and The Muppets were owned by JHC. Though still, such crossovers were rare. They came out with a lot of great Muppet and Sesame children's books around this time.

New Muppet Caper Movie 2013 Official Thread

So excited Ricky Gervais has been cast in the lead role. Given the film takes place in the UK, this was a no brainer. Plus his work with Elmo was brilliant http://www.aintitcool.com/node/60035 I realllllllllllllllllllly hope somehow Luke and Warrick get to be involved somehow:)

Yet again, Muppet Merch is MIA this Holiday Season:(

DrTooth: Its so true. How come the BEST Disney movies(Up, Fantasia 2000, Emperors New Groove, etc) get the LEAST amount of merch. At least Wreck it Ralph has a lot of cool toys, even if they have zero licenced characters(c'mon, no Qbert plush? He was one of the main characters!!!) Oh...

Yet again, Muppet Merch is MIA this Holiday Season:(

We were told "don't worry about the lack of Muppet merchandise for the movie, Disney is just waiting to see if the public was interested in the movie. So dont worry, wait til next year" Well, the public loved it. It was a big success. And whelp, here we are a year later. Let's see, nothing at...

    Should Sesame Street continue?

SNL and SS will be here for decades to come, if not more. I might even be inclined to add Simpsons in there, but definitely Sesame Street. No reason at all why it shouldnt continue til the end of humanity. So what if its someday all new people, all new characters. It's infinite.

Ricky Gervais. You know it needs to happen. Though I'm guessing Russel Brand is a big possibility.

My 14 year Muppet Central anniversary!

Ha, thanks everyone! I'm very grateful MC is still around. It's definitely been an interesting journey. When I first got online regularly in 1996, there really was not many sites about the Muppets. Yet when I discovered Muppet Central one day in 1998, it seemed like I hopped on board RIGHT...

My 14 year Muppet Central anniversary!

It was about 14 years ago this week that I finally joined the Muppet Central forums (the old delphi) I think there's a few people on here who were in diapers when I first joined:) But instead of wishing certain people had come back or longing for the old days (when you could chat in real time...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Re: Sandusky. Again this is a guy who appears to have set up aspects of his charity in order to create a large database of potential victims. He kept databases on young pre teen boys and put checks and stars next to victims he was interested in or had his way with. He exhaustively spent a lot of...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

I can bring up Michael Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, Obama, Michael Vick, R Kelly, Mel Gibson or any other American celebrity who has done wrong or been alleged to have done wrong whom the public came to forgive. And yes, as much as I like a lot of things about President Obama...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

Again, we have a President who routinely slaughters innocents and has in fact ordered the assassination of American teenagers overseas. Yet a lot of the country seems to love him. We have a guy like Chris Brown who savagely beat mega pop star Rhianna, and his popularity is soaring and somehow...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

That's true to some extent. I now am disgusted by Mel Gibson, but am a really big fan of a few of his films(like Signs) I never believed the Michael Jackson allegations other that he had a Peter Pan complex, but there have been some cases where the private actions of celebrities have turned me...

Elmo Muppeteer Kevin Clash resigns from Sesame Street

I have to disagree about Elmo being separate from Clash. Kevin IS Elmo. Sure they can replace him, but when you see behind the scenes footage, see the Being Elmo documentary...to me they are inseperable. Yes, but I don't think anything Clash may have done comes anywhere near the realm of the...
