Aw thanks. Well I mean, I guess it's not that bad. I think I'm just in a transition from "I believe this because I was raised that way" to figuring out my own reasons for believing in something.
I'm very much in an uncertain state of mind in recent years. I think "I don't know" is about the most honest you can get. Unfortunately that's not always good enough for my friend who is an all or nothing atheist, lol.
I definitely know what you mean, lol. I have no problem with atheism, but there are some people who think being an atheist automatically makes them brilliant. Sorry but just because you're an atheist doesn't mean you're Richard Dawkins, lol.
Yeah it's the same kind of thing. People who think...
It just annoys me that there would have to be a separate channel for classics. It didn't used to be that way. Not every child practices age discrimination in their entertainment. ;)
Both channels used to be 100 times better. It's such a crime what happened to them.
I've switched over to The Hub lately. Their original shows aren't painful to watch and they aren't afraid to show the occasional classic TV or movie.
Let me guess, next time Disney is going to teach us that Monstro was just a misunderstood, gentle soul who was tortured by a fisherman as a young guppie? ;)
I was going to wait for Maleficent to go to DVD, but now it seems my friend really wants to see it in the theater, so I may have no choice, lol. I don't know, it may be a good movie. But any movie whose IMDB page is filled with "Better than that old movie!" instantly turns me off, however...
Oh that reminds me, I ended up really enjoying Tropic Thunder, I didn't realize it would be so satirical about Hollywood and all. Very clever, a good time.
I was absolutely convinced the Lord of the Rings films would be terrible. One of those times I was absolutely delighted to be proven wrong. :)
Now those Hobbit films, my skepticism about them proved accurate. ;)
Rescue Bots I could watch anytime. Its genuinely written well, the characters are witty and endearing and they don't take themselves so pretentiously seriously.
I agree that Prime should be praised for removing all the stupid from the Bay aesthetic. Really I just wished the show had more...
Cool, I admit I didn't watch Prime a lot, a little too serious for me. But it was by no means a bad show and I know a lot of fans will be happy to see a Prim-esque show return. And a lot of fans will be happy to start nitpicking again, lol.
I adored her. She wasn't all princessy, but she also wasn't just a bland kung fu warrior, like most of the so-called "strong" women action heroes today.
Is it bad that my first memory of Casey Kasem (playing himself) was that Saved by the Bell episode with the dance contest where Screech and Lisa teach everyone "The Sprain?" Lol
Well the Mario cartoon bits were kinda underwhelming, but as a kid I ADORED the live action Mario and Luigi segments, lol. Plus the Zelda cartoon was enjoyable, but you really have to be a fan of "will they or won't they" love stories to appreciate.
As long as their best work still exists, it never really dies. Now if they're continually forced back to life in some terrifying zombie reboot form, that's another story! :halo:
