A word of warning - *think* before you post.
This is only a theory, however after viewing the News Flash from the Mummenschanz episode of TMS I reckon this sketch was taped around about June 1976.
There are three "versions" of the Muppet News Man; the first version the character's eyes are half-closed, the second version the eyes are wide...
I have the opportunity to buy a second-hand PAL VHS of A Muppet Family Christmas. The label is Palace (same one that released "Go to the Movies", "30 Years" and UK edit of "Muppet Movie".) I would like to know as to which version of the special this is. The duration is 47 minutes, the front...
Some photos from the Brooke Shields and Diana Ross episodes of the Muppet Show have been put up on eBay. If you are thinking of bidding for these, my advice is don't. To me, they look like screenshots that are being sold as photos. The tell-tale signs (to me) are the size of the photos - 4 x...
Does anyone know if the original January 1976 edit of the Connie Stevens Pilot episode of TMS still exists in full? If so, does anyone know of a copy floating around somewhere?

Go to that site, search for Muppet Show, click to Refine your search on the left-hand bar to Oldest, and then tell me what you get.
Muppet Show Music Consultant Ray Charles has died. Here's the only report I've found about his death.

British TV Historian Andrew Pixley recently came across some paperwork for the Muppet Show while doing some research for 1970's British TV and has posted the following on a non-Muppet forum...
* There are no studio bookings for the Harvey Korman show; this seems to have been taped in part with...
Does anyone have an unabridged copy of the UK version of the Muppets Go to the Movies? I've just bought the PAL VHS and it doesn't have commercial breaks and the ATV notice has been removed. I'm wanting to know where were there commercials and were there commercial bumpers like they had with...
With regards to some of the Muppet Show entries on Muppet Wiki (and I'm using the word "entries" in a general sense) - it has come to my attention that we are doubling up on photos in some articles and getting rid of photos in others. For example, the same photo of Florence Henderson on the talk...

Says it all really. Extracts from the Liza Minelli and Gene Kelly episodes, including the credits and original ATV copyright notices. Also look for the commercial bumpers.
Here's the 10 sec. Ruth Buzzi TMS trailer and again this one, like the Lola Falana one, aired on a CBS affiliated network - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRwJHHbR7ME
Does anyone know much about KNXT?
Someone has posted the original 30 sec trailer of Lola Falana's episode of TMS. This appears to come from a US network, which suggests that the trailers aired outside of the UK.

Do we know of many TMS guest star biographies and autobiographies that discuss their appearanceon the series?
I can think of a few - Roger Moore, Bruce Forsyth, Spike Milligan, Gene Kelly (the author was critical of his appearance)...
Any others?
I was surfing Wikipedia today and I discovered that TMS choreographer Norman Maen passed away in April of last year. I checked the forums but I couldn't find anyone having posted a similar thread to this.
