Sesame Street Letter/Number Guide: Season 2

There might have been some other pattern. If you look at the Big Bird at Camp shows from 1982, the numbers that sponsored the 5 shows in order were 2, 3, 8, 4, and 5. I don't know how they decided.

The Frazzletones are the monsters that sang on the song called "Frazzle."

Your 10 Favorite Sesame Street Songs

No offense, but "Soul H" is actually from 1995. I'm surprised someone picked their #1 song as a newer one.

    Obtaining past episodes

Well, at one time, Noggin, the digital cable channel, aired something called "Sesame Street Unpaved", a "best-of" series which consisted of 67 episodes of Sesame Street from 1969-1989 (the first 20 seasons). And a good portion of them were pre-1983. That's how we got them. :)

Trivia question about the 123 in the Sesame Street sign/logo

They only started using the "123" recently. For many years, the letters "CTW" were in that circle, back when it was Children's Television Workshop.

Sesame Street Letter/Number Guide: Season 2

That is amazing! I think this season ran 3 weeks too long because they weren't sure how long the actual season lasted. But I noticed something wierd with the episode numbers all this time. And I knew that the first show in season 3 was #276. So I thought that either season 1 or 2 ran for 3...

Sesame Street Unpaved: There's a Hole in the Bucket

Sesame Street Unpaved will never be on again. I'm not saying that I'm happy, but there is nothing that can be done about it. And the segment you're talking about was never on Sesame Street Unpaved. In fact, I've never seen it myself, and never will. None of that stuff will ever be shown again...

    Sketches wanted--looking for traders

Well, that wasn't the only thing. There was also How Now Brown & The Moo Wave, their 2 songs were "Wet Paint" and "Danger's No Stranger." I believe that at one time, there was an "SMTV" logo in the corner, but was edited out later for some reason. Also "New Way To Walk" was an MTV parody.

Mikealan, how do you KNOW that? That's something I suggested years ago. Call that number, ask for Meeri Park (I got her name wrong before), and tell her how you feel!

Sesame Street under attack for airing McDonald's commercials

Believe it or not, for awhile, the main local sponsor of Sesame Street on Rhode Island PBS was Dunkin' Donuts. And they would run a commercial for Dunkin' Donuts coffee, the same one that's on network television. Wouldn't that be bad for kids? They shouldn't advertise that stuff during kids shows.

Yes, I meant to tell you about that. It's only for Columbus Day week. They're going on sailing ship adventures. PWMS will be back on Monday.

Sesame Street under attack for airing McDonald's commercials

This is something. When I was little, McDonald's was always one of the local sponsors of Sesame Street. We got 3 (4) PBS stations, and they all individualy had McDonald's as a local sponsor.

A unique idea for a Sesame Street parody band!

The lead vocal in the "Beginning/Middle/End" song with books was Paul Jacobs. The band didn't have a name, but I would call them Talking Books. Since the animation had some of those in it. It's a great song, one of my favorites.

Sesame Street: We All Sing Together

Exactly. Sadly, there are parents who think that anything from when they were little is dated, but I don't agree. But I think this video was mostly songs in films. Film actually gets dated more than anything else, because of the clothing styles. They actually phased out old films from the 70s...

A unique idea for a Sesame Street parody band!

"Hit Me Circle, One More Time" - Britney Spheres "8-er Boy" - Avril Lagreen "Without M" - M&M I know my ideas suck.
