The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

Not sure who it was who once said that they love belting out good songs, but here's a really REALLY legendary "just-go-for-it-and-belt" song by the Doobie Brothers. Was it @D'Snowth , @LittleJerry92 , or someone else?

The 'What Song Are You Currently Listening To?' Thread

So I'm a Frank Zappa fan if you didn't know already...and I really can't get enough of the 1984 Stony Brook concerts. You can find them on YouTube. Sure the songs and electronic instruments sound really dated, but I really enjoy the music itself. My absolute favorite guitar solos are on "City...

    Remove Charlie Benson Please.

He's back at it, clogging up this thread with unnecessary trolling (p. 35-39). He instigated a firestorm of comments about fair use, copyright law, and "taking back what's ours." I don't wish to read any of it, and very few other members do either. Seriously, unless he learns how to act...

The Sesame movie that never was

Far-fetched is right. Even though it's real, it sounds more like a third-rate fan fiction than a legitimate movie summary. I doubt that Jon Stone, Jim Henson, Norman Stiles, Caroll Spinney, and company would have went ahead with this. It's way more bizarre than the "Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever...

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

Here's another vintage SS episode from Muppet Wiki, with heavy usage of Frank Oz's characters (yay). From the looks of it, I think that this is a digitally restored episodes that might be added to the AAPB archives. https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/Episode_0804

The “What did you do today?” thread

Actually, he didn't give me a hard time. He was just like, "Unfortunately you'll have to come back" and he explained what I did wrong. Apparently not all instructors care enough to do that, so I lucked out there.

The “What did you do today?” thread

Thanks @LittleJerry92 ! My instructor was pretty serious, but seemed to be a good guy. I asked him how his morning was, and even addressed him as "sir." It was going well until I came to the red light. I don't come across many blinking red lights when I drive around town and there was...

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

Most of the ageless Muppets (e.g. Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster) have functioned as children when paired with the adult characters, but they also serve as child-like companions when paired with other Muppets like Elmo, Big Bird, and Grover. Interestingly enough, the latter three Muppets all have...

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

No, my point is that Frank and Jim knew one another so well (like brothers) that they could act out a scene like this. Ernie and Bert are roommates, but I've started to think of their relationship as being closer to that of siblings (albeit quirky ones).

The “What did you do today?” thread

Well my route was basically a circle from the DMV to a school parking lot and then back. I think I could have done better with my parking too.
