Behold... the New Teen Titans Cartoon...

The next episode also looks to be a lot of fun with the Titans actually becoming villains this time. Can't help but think it's a response to the characters having articles on the Villains Wiki.

    Harvey Beaks: New Nick series

I really hope it's true that it was his own decision to end the show, and not him trying to take the fall for Nick screwing yet another cartoon series because they can't find room on its schedule for anything that isn't a horrid live action series. Whoever's decision it is, it's very depressing...

Behold... the New Teen Titans Cartoon...

I really liked this one. To anyone who grew up with Apple II computer games in grade school, they'll know how mindlessly boring these things really were. Especially Oregon Trail, punctuated by Robin who bemoans the fact the hunting and rafting are the only fun parts of the game.

The Amazing World of Gumball Thread

We got another "22 Short Films About Springfield" type episode, with Gumball and Darwin bored and oblivious to the excitement all around them. Really liked the bit with Banana Joe and the lightsaber.

    The Steven Universe thread

Turns out, Onion talks like his father. Great to see that onion actually does have other friends besides Steven, but it's a shame that Also, it's great to see that even though Steven never got along with Onion before, they've become very close since the episode where they met Vidalia. And...

Sesame Street Season 46 Episode 4608 - When Dinosaurs Walked Sesame Street

That episode was certainly cute. The Dinosaur costumes were certainly well done, and I loved Grover's "spitter" outfit. Also great to see him in a waiter role again. Perhaps a Flintstones reference in the giant dinosaur burger? Nice to see Prairie get a song, and Stephanie sounding close to...

    When you need to rant...

This has been boiling up a bit for me. I honestly think that the defining moment of this presidential race is when Hillary called out half of Trump supporters as deplorable homophobes, xenophobes, racists, and misogynists...and getting crap for it. Now, it was absolutely stupid to say this...

Positive and Negative: Elmo In Grouchland

Hilariously, the only reason we got an Oogieloves movie is because the creator of Teletubbies actually refused to let them make a movie based on them. So you're not far off.

    The Funny Videoe Thread

According to the comments on the video, surprisingly not. They distributed sports videos and according to one of the comments, this came from a best of game show compilation.

This is the legitimate name of a home video distribution company. ...(snicker)...wiener.

    The Old Cartoon Network Thread

Here's another Japanese Cartoon Network promo I really love these Japanese animated bits with American cartoons animated to not look Japanese, but still having their distinct stamp on it. Plus, unlike the 1980's Japanese Flintstones commercials, these are well animated.

Sesame Street shrinks to 30 minutes, new shows will premiere on HBO and PBS nine months later

So, if anyone caught the PBS rebroadcasts, you'll know they actually still have sponsors. It's just United Healthcare and Beaches. So at least it's fewer than before HBO's money. So I'm going to guess this is just upkeep on PBS's part?

Positive and Negative: Elmo In Grouchland

I also get the sense that the film was just rushed out the gate to get this out in time, even though it wasn't a money making film in the end. Come to think of it, I have the same problem with this film as I do Letter from Santa. Seems like they could have been more inclusive of other...

Sesame Street Season 46 Episode 4632 - Sesame Ocean

Then again, it's probably easier to slap Oscar eyebrows on the existing crab puppet than to make a green one. Also the bit wouldn't have worked unless he was that color.

Sesame Street Season 46 Episode 4632 - Sesame Ocean

Caught the PBS rebroadcast and, well, first off all the show still has sponsors despite the fact this season was bought and paid for by HBO. Just two of them, but still, I thought this was dealt with. Maybe it's on PBS's end? This was a fine episode. It managed to be a story for the younger...

The Worst CGI Kid Films In Recent Memory

As I was saying in the Box Office thread, what the heck was the point of releasing "The Wild Life" to theaters in the US? Sure, it made its probably low budget back in its native Europe, but the film is barely DTV at best. They didn't even bother getting celebrity voice actors, or even name...

    The breakfast cereal thread

A local super market chain stopped carrying the Batman V Superman cereals a couple months back, but they've been restocked in certain Targets near me. I only found that Capn Crunch Orange Creme cereal at a Shaws that was intent on getting rid of them. Certain cereals I only see in certain...

    The breakfast cereal thread

It's that time of year again for the General Mills monster cereals. Have to admit, I'm not quite as excited as I was in recent years due to GM's other bat based cereal blowing me away.

    The Son of Zorn thread

I was expecting this to be previewed at 9:30 and wound up missing it. My biggest concern is that it's a parody of He-Man, and as far as 80's nostalgia goes, that's kinda on the way out if it wasn't already. I really hope that the target audience can get behind a parody of 80's cartoons and...
