Muppets on Flip Wilson Marathon July 3-4

I've heard that the AMs sang "Consider Yourself", from "Oliver" on Flip's show. Is this true? Also, if so, were these the same AMs that sang that song on the premiere episode or were they different? Thanks! BlueAM "The Devil made me do it!"- Geraldine

Don Music and the Three Stooges

I just noticed a similarity: Don Music was dropped from SS because of complaints about kids imitating his head banging. Kids imitated the Three Stooges' stunts at home and the network got complaints about it. Anyone notice this? BlueAM

    Muppet Listing 11.0

This one bit just came to mind. There were these guys called the Bath Boys who sang "Let's Go Tubbin'". I don't know whether this was on the show or if it was created especially just for the "Splish Splash" record (I think that was its name.) I also don't know whether this was a Muppet...

    Muppet Listing 11.0

The All-Amphibian Band from Elmopalooza! differs from the original version in the way that the Elmopalooza! versions are basic frogs (think those used on TMS) and those in the original version are AMs made up to look like frogs. Hope this helps! BlueAM "Sometimes he lives in the water...

    Muppet Listing 11.0

Here are some more folks to add: The All-Amphibian Band (from "Caribbean Amphibian"): One of them is a green AM with bulgy eyes, black hair, black moustache, and Jamaican-type clothes. The next one is female, and is lavender with curly black hair, earrings (I think), bulgy eyes and eyelids...

    Muppet Listing 11.0

Nice updates, Count! First of all, I want to point out that it should be Ferlinghetti Donizetti, because of the lyrics of his song: "Ferlinghetti Donizetti is my name, rhymin' and rappin' is my game!" Hope this helps! Also, what skits were Walt Dizzy and Henry Piggins in? Thanks...

The Best of British Film Comedy

Monty Python fans alert: Ray Millichope, editor for MPFC, edited the film. Frank Muir (We Have Ways of Making You Laugh) did the opening and closing narration ("Professor, overture, please!"). Do any of you other guys know about this film, even though I asked already? BlueAM

Nice point of view there, JaniceFerSure, old chap! In it, they play scenes from "I'm All Right Jack", "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", and "The Belles of St. Trinian's", as well as the Goons' short "The Case of the Mukkinese Battlehorn". Some mad, mad, mad, mad highlights: Max Wall...

The Best of British Film Comedy

I found this video called "The Best of British Film Comedy", a reissue of a 1977 film called "To See Such Fun". It's VERY hilarious. It features excerpts from over 80 years of the greatest British comedies, from the 1920s to the 1970s. It has many of the greats: Peter Sellers, Marty Feldman...
