I came here in early 05. I feel like the second wave came at the tail end of 04 with members like Prawnie. I was part of that second wave in early 05. I'm proud to say that next year will be my 10th anniversary, but I forget whether it's the end of March or the beginning of April.

Well it has been a crazy year, to be sure. It's coming up on the 1 year anniversary of us living down here in sunny, not so funny Florida. The exact day will be Thursday, the day before Halloween. The year's been full of ups and downs, mostly downs, but whenever I come here my heart immediately...

Sorry for all the multiposting, but I just wanted to post a very quick update. We made it to South Carolina where we made a last-minute decision to stay at a place called South of the Border. It's different to anywhere I've stayed before, but I like it!

Finally went on Wikipedia and learned what a croquet monsieur is. It's basically a hot ham and cheese sandwich with white sauce. I first heard it mentioned in Kermit's Guide to Life In the 90's, and just now read it in an article on the food trucks that are coming to Disney World next month.

I remember listening to him in the American top 40 when I was in high school, so as far as I'm concerned that's what he was best known for. Ah well. not really a big Scooby Doo or Luny Tunes fan. This is very sad to hear. :sympathy:

Yeah, some things about it I'm looking forward to. Some I'm definitely not. Moving to a much smaller space, for one. I could rant and grumble here about a lot of things, but I don't think this is the best place to do that. But I'm so glad to be back here! I missed you all, especially :batty:

We've got a tiny condo, but according to my mom it's inland, although when it comes down to it I don't know how much difference that makes.
