Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
This reminds me of that 30 Rock episode where the those knock-off Sesame characters attack Chris on the street because he starts his business where they're standing.
But seriously, I can't believe Disney, Sesame and other companies don't do something about this.
Hopefully this story will get...
They can do 2- three hour movies, and they can easily fit the whole story into two movies.
If you watch The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, you'll see how streched out it is, and why a lot of people hated this one. It gets very good at the end though. ;)
I'm one of those complainers for The Hobbit.
It's such a short book, split into three movies with the first one being over three hours. I saw the movie, and yes, it was extremely stretched out. It feels longer than all those talking scenes from Lincoln.
I think two movies would've been...
One of the things I'm really looking forward to is this summer.
Becuase that's most probably when the first teaser poster is going to be released! I'm going to make sure I get that poster! I'm in need of some more Muppet posters. ;)
You just made me feel bad with that post. Of course I cherish Jerry Nelson's memory, but I'm really voting for the individual character...maybe I'm cherishing Jim's memory then.
*sigh*
May the best Muppet win!
Since when is Amen a bad thing to say?
It's OK if you say "Amen", but you don't have to quote the person for it. ;)
It's OK FrackleFan. Let's get back to remembering the life and memory of the amazing woman that just passed away.
Anything beats that.
Anyway, I really don't care at the moment that he's having a cameo, 'cause, truth is, in the last movie there were names I didn't hear of/didn't care for, and they all did a pretty good job. I'm curious to see how his is.
As long as they don't get a Justin Bieber...
A lot of great people have been dying recently. *sigh*
If you've ever been to Muppet-Vision 3D, you'll remember the "Net Full of Jello" thing hanging from the ceiling, as a play off of her name. She's had other minor Muppet connections.

Sometimes, I'm actually glad they change some stuff for the movies. I don't like seeing a carbon copy of the book on-screen. I'd like to see how they change it around and adapt it for film or movies. I don't like when the script is exactly like it is in the book.
I love the fact that the Chef and Rowlf are right there with the others. I'm glad we're seeing more of those characters. Though, they're both Bill Barretta characters, so I guess they'll be dubbed later if both of them have a speaking role in this scene.
Whoa! Rowlf was winning by a lot before! Now the Count is winning by ten more votes!
Everybody vote for Rowlf! I love The Count, but I think Rowlf really deserves the recognition!
Also, I just wanted to say that Kenny Durkin did a great job with the artwork here. It's really funny too! I love...
Thanks for bringing this thread up.
I just wanted to remind everyone that we have a very strict rule over at the MC Wiki. No member is able to create a member page except for that member himself.
