Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
Hey guys i know this is an odd request but hear me out...a few years back a dear friend of mind had a kid and she is like a niece to me, well it was requested that if possible i could bring an Elmo to her birthday party in December..now im not saying i need the real elmo or that i want to buy it...
even if impaired...his family doesnt say "hey joe..lets get you your own puppets"
either way just got a fb email from him saying he is making his own show..no other details
i mean i feel sorta bad...i dont like being the guy to ruin peoples dreams but then again he stole from almost all of us,...and tried conning the rest....its like no one tells him what he is doing is wrong its fine to have a dream to have a tv show but not like this
i feel like something might be wrong with him...like he isnt all there, it would make some sense
but he seems well and good what he is doing
ive seen his family and friends post on his stuff as if they approve so makes me think he is just lying people about his stuff..youd think they would tell...
he didnt mean anything by it just that they where people not muppets....its a fact people who work for disney in parks are called cast members....he was just saying how this group look more like that than muppet movie cast members
very very well said you took all i was going to say and made it a great post
Kermit isnt Written as Kermi he is written as Bob Crachit..and that isnt wrong
the thing with Gonzo is that he never lost all his crazy it was there all those year in subtle form... his clothes, his little comments...
Characters of all franchises grow just like you and me...especially as performers grow and change...if characters always stayed the same they would be boring and people would get tired of them...even slight changed are changes in the right direction
because Steve wasnt confortable being Kermit just yet, notice how Rizzo exploded in content too, and Dave Goelz was the only senior member at the time...its all the change process and seeing exactly want Kermit's fate was after the death of Jim
Muppets from space is Gonzo's story so hence thats...
most of these have to do with casting...remember athis was the first movie with Jim and Richard...it was the test to see what would happen with the muppets...
only select few of their chars had been recast...really none of richards but beaker had been recast...and only Kermit and Waldorf had...
i mustve been tired...either way Walter has finally grown on me,,,not that i learned he is meant to be expressive i can see him continuing on if the story calls for it...my main confusion is his relation to Gary
again it goes both ways, we on the Like it" side have been told we are wrong too
both sides have been called wrong, not true fans, dumb and childish by the other....lets just drop this one before we go in circles again
2 Weeks then we can attack each other again
we have had this argument before let us not start it again in another thread...both side are entitled to share how they feel
now the "YOU" in this post is directed at no one in particular just a general "you"
we have 2 weeks till the film comes out, im asking everyone as a small Muppet fan to...
one thing ive learned to do with movies is never question Characters funding...if they need to pay for it they can afford it no matter the back story...movies dont take into consideration real life dollar prices....best example go watch the movie Just go with it and tell me that doesnt take...
