I am chill (but not a man) and cool about this whole thing :). My PBS is KQED after all..I guess as such I never got the hate for 'left wing' ideas..it's not all or nothing thing after all :\
More human and muppet interaction would be nice..and it would be nice to see the 'taking a trip with the human adults and children' story arcs return for this generation to :D.
Happy Days? o.o I think it says something that he is using Happy Days and Friends as examples, they are pretty old now :p.
The muppets period were always 'left wing' but I don't see that as a bad thing. I mean, that is like being mad at old 50's-60's sitcoms for being right wing. In both cases...
As a white girl with 'poofy' curly hair I love the my hair short to :D The media is basicly saying now 'the only pretty is flat hair' but if you HAVE to have curly the only pretty then is the 'perfect' curls that 3 hours with a curler gets you. Even natural curly hair isn't good enough for them...
I hope even if the movie poster isn't hand drawn some of the new products made after the new movie will have the classic style drawings used. If there is one thing I remember about the late 80's early 90's it's that the art for many muppets ads and books was wonderful and detailed...
I have plenty of muse, it's just that readership is down. FR fics are some of the few I ever finished and yet on FF.net I'm lucky if anyone even looks at them...
About age and feeling 15 or something, I am 28 but the thing is I think muppets are one of those things that you need a mix of being...
I really don't know enough about artists rights with them to vote ether way. The trouble is when they make a shirt it's only for a short time on that site I always understood..I could be wrong but does that mean even after it goes out of print they own it or do the rights to it being 'offical'...
They missed a very good story they could tell in the Smurfs about a clumsy boy and his donkey to :\
The only thing with the M poster is those flat pictures in the back you can tell those muppets aren't really there :(
I do wish she had kept her Space Jam self since to me that is the character. It's a shame she might just be known as an air head. I mean even a bit crazy me thought she was over the top for a show where they seem to be making everyone into 'normal people...
I miss Taz-Mania...Reruns might kill...
It's all about I think that they know people know their new series but they think that anything old isn't a 'sure thing'. The trouble is I wonder if they know how active sharing their 'unknown' series actually is... Muppet Babies is about as widely burned on DVR as The New Adventures Of WTP, if...
Okay then :). Sorry, internet makes it hard for me to tell things sometimes...
Maybe with the Smurfs...You know now that I think of it the door would most likely kill the poor little things ;.; (Since when did a movie been set in the middle ages where magic is real become uncool to little kids...
Not even knowing that that one was Frogboy's it is one that I would buy, the lines look very very official. My other favorite is 'The lovers, the dreamers and me', it is at first glance, the one I thought won..I was disappointed when I saw the real winner. The 'basic colors made with Flash' look...
O.O For goodness sakes, I wasn't ATTACKING you :p All I said was that 'I don't think all movie posters are awful since 1995 o.o '
As far as the butts poster goes, I see it as more the fact that they got caught in the door (something that happens quite often in cities) than 'look at our behinds'...
I don't think all movie posters are awful since 1995 o.o That's just as much a matter of taste as liking certain muppet movies or not :P (and quite a bit doom and gloomy). Even the sunglasses, I really don't mind if it's 80's summertime (and I look at movie posters from around the world as...
I know it's bad to say, but I always liked Piggy better with curly hair. Not super afro curly, but something a bit wavy and thicker than what she has now...*hides*
I like the M poster the most but some of the pictures of muppets look flat while others are really there :(. I really would love if they did handdrawn art for the movie posters again someday, there is plenty of talent to pick from :)
I know this has probably been asked but what are points for and how do you get them? (and I really hope this isn't one of those scary forums that takes away points for asking about them :O)
