This weekend I was able to order my set through the USPS website. Did you know that USPS accepts international orders? Can't wait to add mine to my HUGE stamp collection. I've been collecting stamps from all over the world since childhood. When I ordered the Muppets/Jim Henson stamps I also...
Unfortunately it looks like TMS won't be returning to CTS after all. :o They've revamped their Web site and in that 12 PM slot is "Eaglecom." Sorry about the build-up; I really thought CTS would bring it back.

Yes, there is supposed to be a small booklet listing the discs and their respective contents. Every guest's name is listed. There are also some photos with the Muppets and some of the S1 guests.

Wow, if I had just held out a little longer in sending that email, I would've discovered this happy news sooner! Hopefully the 4 DVDs will contain both WS and FS. However, I would hold off getting rid of your older editions until after we have an official confirmation from Disney.

This is the email I sent to Disney last night re. the DVDs.

Hi,
I am a lifelong Disney and Muppets fan...
The Crossroads Television Service (CTS) is bringing The Muppet Show back this fall! TMS will air weekdays at 12 noon ET beginning September 5. CTS is available throughout the province of Ontario, and on satellite in most other areas of Canada.
Stay tuned for more updates.

Happy 50th Birthday Kermit! :)
CBS put together a good interview. The Ethel Merman exchange contains one of my fave Kermit lines, btw. I'm glad Disney didn't cut that!

Easter eggs?
Has anybody here come across any Easter eggs in the box set? I'm curious to know if any of those discs contain surprise footage. Part of the fun of owning DVDs for me is searching for Easter eggs.

I couldn't have said it better myself. The only cut that troubles me is the absence of Vincent Price's musical number ("You've Got a Friend"). It would've also been nice if the German-language rendition of "Lean on Me" by Mary Roos had been included among the extras on disc 4 (she is a popular...
Yesterday I bought the set and I'm happy to have it, despite the cuts. Before I bought it, I read a posting at the Muppet NewsFlash site suggesting that the reason why Kermit's line in the pitch reel was cut was because it had the CBS logo. Is that possible? I somehow think it isn't because he...
The Muppets were on Tony Danza's show today. I saw Kermit and Miss Piggy interviewing celebs at the Daytime Emmy Awards and collecting sympathy $ for Tony because his show didn't receive any nominations. Didn't see Richard Roeper. I only got the tail end of their appearance. It looked funny...
On the day of his death I was in one of my high school classes (age 16). Somebody in the class whispered that Jim had just died, much to my disbelief. It wasn't until I got home and watched TV that my worst fears about him were confirmed. He had just appeared on TV with his WDW special, and now...
