Hey! I worked at that store when I was a CP in 2002~ tell all the managers that Shannon says "hi"! Man, I miss working there, everyone was SO nice! :flirt:
oooo! I really like that idea! Muppet related books would be a really fun thing to do, it would be not only a book discussion but also a discussion about differences between the book and the movie. Plus- wizard of oz and treasure island are super short, so that would be great for those of us...
I also found some count slippers at hot topic- they are SUPER comfy. I remember seeing some count stuff at Claire's a while back, I know there was a stool and some stickers, there may have been more.
See this makes me super excited because I'm one of those peope who is hooked on chapstick- I don't leave home without it. And the idea of using muppet chapstick is just too cool! :flirt:
Another 81 kid here! When I was a kid I remember seeing muppet stuff everywhere- it was awesome back in those days. I got hooked on sesame st first, then fraggle rock, then muppet babies. :D
My friends and I use that one whenever someone says something really dumb, it makes us giggle.
Fozzie- Hey kermit, are bears allowed in those fountians?
Kermit- Um, no, I don't think so
Fozzie- I need a bath :o
I named my pet frog "robin" ( I don't have any kids, so that's about as close as I can get) he was a tiny little guy so the name kinda fit. I'd sing frog prince songs to him from time to time, but he was never inclined to join in for some reason
Were you a CP? I worked as a CP at the stage one giftshop (right next to muppetvision) in 2002. How funny that they put muppet fans over in the muppet area! :excited:
Yay! I'm so glad there are some other Oz enthusiasts on the board. I love the books as well (haven't gotten through all of them) but I think the first one is my favorite, just so near and dear to my heart.
BTW- have you read "wicked" yet? It's all about what was going on in Oz before Dorothy...
I'm a HUGE fan of the wizard of oz books, so I'm really optimistic about this project. I think that the muppets can really make it fun and fresh; I'm probably the only one on the board who is excited about this but I don't care! :excited:
Awww! I miss being able to see this show whenever I wanted. I gotta admit, I lurv the preshow- it's almost as good as the actual show (which is rare in a disney theme park!) :flirt:
