What Muppet Fans Are Thinking About

I had a dream last night in which Steve Whitmire was best friends with my favorite actor, John Hurt, and they invited me to dinner with them. I wish that was real.

What song can you not get out of your head?

I just heard "Something Wild" by Lindsey Stirling this morning, and it's been in my head all day. I love it so much though, so I'm not complaining! ;)

    Learn Something New Everyday Thread

I learned a few things: 1. How to make a photo calendar on the Walgreens website. 2. That Alan Menken wrote the music for Little Shop of Horrors, in addition to the Disney Renaissance movies. 3. How to (comfortably) ride a bike. I'm 18 years old.

    Remembering Gerry Parkes, 1924-2014

In retrospect, I realize that Doc was my favorite character not in the Fraggle Five. I always loved his segments with Sprocket (I wonder how Steve reacted to this), and his performance in the final episode brings me to tears every time. This genuinely breaks my heart, to know that yet another...

The 'what movie did you last watch thread'

Right now I'm watching "The Naked Civil Servant", the story of Quentin Crisp. It's really really good and actually has some really funny stuff in it! "Do you intend to spend your entire life admiring yourself??", "If I possibly can." John Hurt is brilliant. :D But the last full movie I...

    Trash Heap origins?

I don't understand this plot thread at all and I don't even know how to argue it. There are a lot of continuity errors in the show I've noticed, namely in the songs. Example: "Catch a Tail by the Tiger, Take the horns by the bull". But... but... how do they know what those animals are if they...

    Is Frozen overrated?

I think we're past the storm of it all, but in general, YES. I think it's overrated. By no means do I think it's bad, but I have found a lot of problems with it. In fact, I think people's fanfictions etc. are better than the movie

    If they could sing now...

I could see all of them singing "We Go Together" from Grease. Not just the Fraggle Five, but the whole population of the Rock. Wouldn't that be fun???

    Remembering Robin Williams (July 21, 1951 - August 11, 2014)

I know! They should show it on "Me TV" or something, because I don't get nearly enough Mork and Mindy in my life! (or enough Happy Days or I Love Lucy, for that matter)

What song can you not get out of your head?

I've had the "Happy Days" theme song in my head since the moment I woke up on Friday. That's right. FRIDAY. It's a great song, but it just gets annoying. Well, it could be worse. I also have "Problem" by Ariana Grande and "Augen Auf (Ready or Not)" by Oomph in there :/

    Remembering Robin Williams (July 21, 1951 - August 11, 2014)

I am still in total utter shock. I was watching Robin Willliams' standup special just a few hours before the news broke that he died. The words 'probable suicide' really shocked me. I think I cried for about 45 minutes initially upon hearing the news. I couldn't process it, and still can't...
