I have now been told that I do have one, apparently very annoying, habit when I'm watching a movie. For the first half of the film I'll keep nudging the fella and asking him to turn the volume up a bit then I'll suddenly start complaining that it's too loud so he turns it down again but then...
I'm me the world over except I have a tendency to ask more questions on forums, you know to get things explained.
I have a natural unquenchable curiosity and it can kinda get in the way of regular conversation but here, and on other forums, I can just start a new thread or whatever. It's good.
That's kinda odd.:)
I don't think I have any strange movie-watching habits, except in recent years i seem to spend an awful lot of my time taking things off the fella because he is constantly fiddling and it's sort of distracting.
Pies? I'm pretty sure we don't have pies over here at McDonalds. We used to have these filthsome apple turnovers. Maybe we do have pies, I don't remember them though.
Oh and I hope you have more good luck with that waistline cos when you hit thirty most likely you'll go 'whooomph!'...
The guys are right y'know they speak sense.
As for the girls, you're feeling quite unsettled right now - a condition I call Small Town Insanity - I know it well, I'm from a little tourist town myself. New things are always going to appeal but before you throw away everything you've just...
I has two teeth pulled not long back. It took about five minutes each including numbing and I never felt a thing - I was eating crisps by tea-time but then I have a remarkably high pain threshold.
Oh and over here 'braces' refers to both the kind Americans called braces and the kind you all...
Over here *sings*
"Mr. Sheen shines umpteen things clean!"
Why are these cleaning products called 'Mr'? I dunno about yours but Mr.Sheen is from the age when women were still expected to do most, of not all, of the housework.
Well my brother used to have one of those head-cap braces that he had to wear twelve hours a day but (and here's where I incur the wrath of all) I never had braces but really wanted them. My dentist said my teeth are near-perfect but near ain't quite there. I never got any though, my Mum...
Aaaaw, poor Rowlf! Just when things were looking up.
Again with the comic relief, excellent. Ten gold stars and another ten for the pharmacist giving Robin a lolly.
Can't wait for the next chapter!
IN my school we weren't allowed gum at all and no drinks in class - that was what breaks were for.
Now i believe kids are allowed a drink of water in class
I bet it's like over here. We finish school at 16 the go on to College then after that we go to University but sometimes we still call Uni college. I shoulda looked at Vibs' age but still, when I went to College it was pretty cool. At least everyone there opted to be there.
Not really, but I was nervous when I first went to College. Strangely I moved across the country and ended up sharing the halls with someone who lives real close to me.
I'm sure you'll be just fine, people grow up, (usually), and they'll stop being obsessed with stupid things. ]
Good luck...
Agh! They were ripped off, I would have paid waaay more than five dollars for one of Bunsen's periodic tables. Rats, if only I had know the yard sale was on...and lived in America...and was a fictional character in your story...
Another excellent instalment. Your comic relief timing is perfect.
Well the address isn't very catchy and you could probably present it better but how's this
Let me know if you want to do anything with it, I'm more than happy to keep this subdomain up and add pages/rearrange things - I'm pretty sure I could even add a forum!
