What if Seymour the elephant was still with the Muppet gang today?
What if Andy & Randy Pig were with The Muppets today?
What if Digit and Leon were with The Muppets today?
What if the Muppet band "Solid Foam" (from The Jim Henson Hour) still did songs for the Muppets?
What if The Muppets...
Yeah, I love it when Dave Goelz sings "I'm Going To Go Back There Some Day" as Gonzo!
I feel that Steve Whitmire did his best singing with Wembley!
It's a shame that Richard Hunt didn't get to have Wayne finish the song "It's Only A Paper Moon".
I love Jim Henson's singing in the song...
I really love the "Sixty Seconds Got Together" song by The Gills Brothers!
That was a great song sung by Jim Henson, Jerry Nelson, Richard Hunt & Steve Whitmire! There singing voices are very collective.
I always loved the Fraggle songs by Gobo & Wembley!
Jerry Nelson & Steve Whitmire do great harmony. I always love hearing them sing "Wemblin' Fool"
:smirk:
Which puppeteers do you think have beautiful singing voices?
Jim Henson
Frank Oz
Jerry Nelson
Richard Hunt
Dave Goelz
Steve Whitmire
Kevin Clash
Bill Barretta
I was amazed by Frank Oz's singing for the song "Sweet Gingerbread Man" from the Don Knotts episode of The Muppet Show.
One of my favorite explosions from the Muppets has to be on the John Denver episode of The Muppet Show where Gonzo's head blows up at the opening theme!
:concern:
No offense, But saying that explosions for Muppets might be taboo nowadays is kinda like saying that Muppet Monsters eating other Muppets might be taboo nowadays too.
"No offense" :)
Explosions have been a trade mark for the Muppets in the 1960's and 1970's, From the Wilkin's Coffee Commercials up to the final episode of The Muppet Show. But then in the mid 80's they kinda stop doing that!
I miss seeing explosions on The Muppets! You never see any explosions on The Muppets...
You kinda have a point about mulch. Mulch was in The Muppet Show (Debbie Harry episode) and he did appear in "The Muppets Go To The Movies" where he was played by Jerry Nelson, But I feel like the character really took off by Kevin Clash for Muppets Tonight.
I love Floyd's version of Ain't Misbehavin' in that episode! :sing:
That episode also has one of the rare moments in At The Dance where we see Dr. Teeth dancing with Mildred. :D
And the Sax & Violence skit with Zoot & Mahna Mahna is a PURE CLASSIC!
You got a point there, Everybody does have different taste but ya know the Glutton puppet would later turn in to the Lardpork character for The Muppet Musicians Of Bremen.
Here is a list of my favorite characters from Muppets Tonight!
Clifford
Rizzo The Rat
Andy & Randy Pig
Seymour & Pepe
Nigel
Eugene
Bobo The Bear
Dr. Phil van Neuter
Mulch
Johnny Fiama
Sal
Big Mean Carl
Howard Tubman
Bad Polly
Clueless Morgan
Jowls
Zippity Zap
Bill The Bubble...
The Muppet Movies that I got to see in theaters were the following.
