    Looking for a lost skit

There was a Kermit News flash about a $6.00 man. He was interviewing a scientist who invented him, and he made him out of a whole bunch of cheap items. Then, when he turned the man on, all the $6.00 man could do was destroy the entire laboratory.

What is an Unpaved Sesame Street episode?

I think I can explain it better. See, "Sesame Street Unpaved" was this rerun series that used to be on the digital cable channel called "Noggin." I'm not surprised you've never heard of it, a lot of people haven't. But it wasn't every episode from 1969 through 1989, it was only 65 episodes...

Nope, just Chrissy. He didn't actually sing. He did talk, but it wasn't Chris's voice.

    Mail It Shop

Maybe the radio people just don't know Sesame Street that well. Also, nobody knows who Hooper is anymore! But I was very upset about the Mail-it Shop, and the painting of the doors.

    Word Family Song

Most of you are probably familiar with this song: You take a "J" that's a jjj And an E-T, "ET" You put them altogether And that spells "JET" That's "JET", J-E-T, "JET" That's "JET", J-E-T, "JET" You take a "J" that's a jjj and an E-T, "ET" You put them altogether And that spells...

Your Thoughts: Play With Me Sesame Season 2

When I mean that the song was "killed," that means that it will no longer be used on Sesame Street. It doesn't have anything to do with Noggin, Play With Me Sesame, or any foreign production. It only has to do with it being used on the original Sesame Street series. Now with this particular...

Your Thoughts: Play With Me Sesame Season 2

The band name was "Movin'", the song was called "Movin' On", it's from Season 19, and it only ever aired in 2 shows: 2436 and 2410. It was written by Joe Raposo and Emily Kingsley (I think). And the lead singer most definitely was voiced by Richard Hunt. And it was killed in 1988 by Lisa Simon.

Anyone interested in trading for Unpaved episodes?

I do have the 1993 Season Primere, but that was NOT the primere of the new theme music. The first episode that does NOT use the classic theme song was actually the 1992 Season Primere. Mikealan, can I have a copy of those episodes, please?? P.S. Do they have the opening theme or closing...

The closing themes of Sesame Street

I think the Barkley ending was the one that was used the longest (so far). It was used from 1978-1992. If they continue to use the one that replaced it, with the dancing buildings and statue of liberty, it will hold the record. The only difference is, it's been shortened.

    Herry with a BLUE nose!

That's probably why they changed it. In fact, that's why they changed the looks of all the characters from the very early stages of Sesame Street. People thought they were too ugly.

    Mail It Shop

Well, research said that little kids can't understand getting a toaster fixed, because if their parents' toaster breaks, they go and buy a new one. A fixit shop in general is pretty much a thing of the past. And little kids are not taken to fixit shops nowadays, even if there is one around...
