Funny you should mention High School Musical 3. When I saw it in theaters I thought this was either a Muppet reference or I mis-heard:
In the scene right before the musical at the end you see Sharpay warming up and talking to her parents on her cell phone. Then Jimmie, one of the new kids...
I got the complete series for my birthday today! It's really cool, I like the package and everything. I do think it's a shame that they screwed everyone over who supported them by buying seasons 1-3 (while people like me who only just got season 1 the Christmas of '07 >_> don't have to feel that...
How come? Is it just 'cause they get scratched? I just got the complete series for my birthday today (fortunately I only bought season 1 so that's my only double)... just wanna make sure I'm not missing out on a disc I should get replaced.
EDIT: nevermind... I saw the other thread about the...
I love all three, but I think I like Kermit the best (despite Gonzo being my favorite character).
I think the reason is because Kermit doesn't have any clothes or anything, he's very simple. And there is something to be said about simplicity.
Definitely Gonzo and Rizzo. I grew up with them as a team. Perfect chemistry in Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, and Muppets From Space.
I also loved that scene in Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie when they exchanged gifts.
Although, I DO like the Rizzo/Pepe pairing as well.
About the CGI.... I like to pretend that when they're at Oz that they CGI is purposely made to be ugly... to show the shoddy workmanship of the "wizard" and Bunsen and Beaker xD lol. And as for Ashanti playing Dorothy... well I have nothing against her. I'm not a fan or anything, but the fact...
Muppets Wizard of Oz
I'm proud to say that, after my latest viewing of the movie (just the other day), that I loved it.
It REALLY isn't as bad as you all are saying it is. These are some of the highlights:
-Johnny and Sal
-The best (IMO) performance of Scooter since Richard Hunt's...
I'm updating my list, this is what I posted earlier in the thread:
"Gonzo is my absolute favorite.
Honorable mentions go to:
-Kermit
-Rizzo
-Sam the Eagle
-Rowlf
-Scooter
-Fozzie
-Swedish Chef
-Statler & Waldorf
-The whole Electric Mayhem"
and I'd like to add:
-Pepe
-Bobo...
I believe that was Ricky Boyd... and he was in Muppets' Wizard of Oz.
And I agree, I really liked his characterization of Scooter... but this new one isn't bad.
I thought it was great! I really liked what Beaker wished for the most for Christmas ;) . The ending was really great with all the characters too... and Rowlf spoke! (I kept thinking to myself how much a shame it is that we hardly ever see Rowlf anymore). And omg... BOBO was in it! FREAKIN'...
Wow... I'm surprised that some of you guys are shocked about some of the stuff in the Kermit-less world (like Sam)... I mean I always figured the joke was that since Kermit wasn't there, everyone acted out of character.
But anyway, I love VMMCM. Maybe 'cause I was born in '88, which was like...
