    Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5005 - A Dog and a Song

I emailed Stephanie asking who the girl in the cold open is and Shane is right! It's Bert's cousin Bertina.

TV Alert: Sesame Street on the 42nd Annual Kennedy Center Honors Sunday December 15, 2019

This was fun. Big Bird thinking Tom Hanks' name was Thanks and trying to sit in his lap was funny. This is My Street was the perfect song for the occasion. I could tell that Leslie was still grieving over losing Caroll. I empathized with her.

    Remembering Caroll Spinney (December 26, 1933-December 8, 2019)

This is a theory: Maybe when Wendy Williams met Caroll back in 2012, he told her that cause she has an autistic family member, but he wasn't willing to tell most people.

    Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5005 - A Dog and a Song

The cold open was a nice surprise. Great to see Bart and whoever the girl is. The song Abby, Elmo and Mick sang was catchy. The new version of Sing was pretty good. I liked Grover and Charlie adding examples of good things in the middle of singing. The dedication to Caroll after the credits was...

Disney Muppet Babies Season 2 Episode 8 - Run Fozzie Run / My Brother Vinny

I thought the song Fozzie sang in the jungle was catchy. It was nice seeing the backstage of the Muppet Theater for the first time on this series. It was interesting how they used hand-drawn animation for the monkey in the storybook.

    Remembering Caroll Spinney (December 26, 1933-December 8, 2019)

Ryan and David have good things to say about Caroll: My mom learned from Wendy Williams that Caroll had autism. She had my brother look it up to see if it was true. How come we never knew that before?

    Remembering Caroll Spinney (December 26, 1933-December 8, 2019)

I heard about this news when I was assisting the Jim Henson tour at the Center for Puppetry Arts and I just couldn't believe it. RIP, Caroll. Thank you for everything you've done. I'm very lucky that I got to meet you at DragonCon in 2015.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5004 - Getting Dressed, Not Stressed

Seeing Baby Bear in the bookends was a nice surprise. I thought David's performance of the talking jacket was fun and I liked the song he and Elmo sang. My favorite part of the Road Trip bit was Big Bird asking if he could fit in the boys house. I liked hearing Leslie and Frankie voice the...

Sesame Street Special "Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration"

Aw man. I hope someone uploads that bit with Grundgetta online then, cause I deleted my DVR recording to prepare for this.

"Sesame Street: 50 Years and Still Sunny!" documentary to air on PBS beginning March 1, 2020

Well, one of the PBS stations in my area is airing this on the 11th. For some reason, they're showing it at 3:30 in the morning.

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5003 - Pigs for Another Day

Yeah, the street story wasn't anything special. I did like the song and Peter Linz' performance of the dog. I liked Big Bird step-dancing with the girl in the Road Trip segment. I thought the process of Abby and Rudy testing out their plans for the roller-coaster was interesting. They finally...

TV Alert: Sesame Street at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

See, Warrick used to be a member here, just like Ryan Dillon. Also Alice Dinnean was Bert just like last year. Here's the performance:

Video: "Make It Real with Oscar" on Squarespace

This was great, like a two-and-a-half minute feature film! My favorite part was Oscar just slowly closing his car window.

    The New New Quote Thread

Steve Swanson: This new show on Disney+ is where Matt Vogel really proves himself to be the current Kermit the Frog, and I think he's gonna do it and pull it off. He's gonna do everything in his power to bring Kermit as he is in our minds and our hearts, he's gonna make us laugh, he's gonna make...

Sesame Street Season 50 Episode 5002 - The Great Sesame Street Cake Off

I thought the street story was enjoyable enough. It was great having Gonger be involved in an episode for once. It is interesting that the Road Trip bits are so short that it allows for Foodie Truck and Amazing Adventures to be shown too. I thought the floating hands helping Abby and Rudy make...

Sesame Street Special "Sesame Street's 50th Anniversary Celebration"

Sherlock was basically Jerry's natural voice with an English accent, so it's understandable why Matt found it hard to duplicate. I thought he did fine though. What was it about Ryan's Don that you weren't crazy about? Too British sounding or too-much bravado in his voice? Ryan has said Don...

Video: Vanity Fair showcases a day in the life of Elmo with help from his friends

My favorite parts were Elmo's impression of Oscar and his shoutouts to Adele and Patti Labelle.
