Yeah. I guess now I know why no one answered my last post, since we're all so concerned with this. When I saw that post the other day, I was concerned. Like I said, I noticed Steve/Kermit has been phasing out of recent Muppet appearances, but I was hoping that maybe he was just taking time...
I think that's how we abbreviate it now. So anyway, my friend and I were watching "It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie" recently (Because watching Christmas movies helps cool us off on hot days in the summer) and I was curious about something.
The closed captioning said that Miss Piggy's...
I disagree. I think the Muppets got quite a bit of airtime in that. I especially liked it in the "Me Party" song, when the Gary/Mary relationship (or lack thereof as far as the song was concerned) was compared with the Kermit/Miss Piggy relationship.
I'm not sure this was posted here before or not, but just for the heck of it:
What did Ernie say when Bert asked if he wanted some ice cream?
"Sure, Bert."
Well, there is one issue I had with the 'villian' in the first live action SD movie, but I want to verify that we all have seen the movie before I post my thoughts on that one. Don't want to give away any spoilers.
Yeah. I just posted in the other thread about the bike shop episode, how there was no mention of Luis. I recall someone posting an April Fool's joke this year about all humans being gone from the cast eventually. The way things are going this season, that doesn't seem like too much of a...
No. That was Gene Kelly. (Recall the 'end of the world' plotline.)
Yeah, I thought of watching the one with Roger Moore as a tribute on my Timelife video, but I think that may be back at my parents' house, same thing with my season 3 DVD with Jean Stapleton. Seems like TMS guests are...
Yeah, I seem to have notice a bit of an accent in Oscars voice specifically in Christmas Eve of Sesame Street especially with his phrases like "If I was you" and "tomorrow mohning." That did seem to be dropped around the 80s though.
Yeah. I was wondering about that too. I was sort of hoping that Carroll would at least loop in Oscar's voice there. But on the other hand, I know Carroll's Oscar voice has been a bit scratchy lately and Eric is pretty good at doing the classic Oscar sound. (I mean nothing against Carroll...
Well, I have Asperger's.
Interesting to note that I'm not the only one with Asperger's on this forum. Haven't heard to much about HFA, but I do know about PPD. (Pat, I'd like to buy a vowel.)
Yeah. I notice contrary to what Pig's Laundry said, I think BB sounds a little better when he sings than he talks now, so the auto-tuning might have had something to do with it. I don't know.
It is on You Tube, but the trouble is a lot of YT eps get deleted quickly, but hopefully you'll get a chance to see it while it's still on. A lot of season 47 eps have been on YT for quite some time.
