BTW,
There's been a permanent price reduction on these at Target; now they're 9.99 instead of 14.99, and the mini-beanies are now 2.99 instead of 5.99.
So if you've been holding back on picking them up for whatever reason, you may want to get them before they're gone...
:) :o :concern:
BTW, I was in my closest Target the other day, and the Muppet Babies w/DVD had been cut in price from 14.99 to 9.99...in case anyone was looking at getting one of them anyway. The smaller Beanies had a price cut as well--I think they were 2.99 instead of 5.99.
:sympathy:
It's coming out later this summer...so start saving your $$$ now.
I'm looking forward to this...I've always been a bigger Sesame Street than Muppet Show fan, and I passed on the Muppet Monopoly, but I will be buying this. Maybe I can trick my wife into thinking it's an Anniversary present...
...right. From what I understand, Sesame Street can still broadcast existing Kermit clips, but would have to pay $$$ to get new ones. New ones are still a possibility, but a scant one.
Kermit has had appearances on recent SS DVDs, so they can still use those.
:)
Mmmm. Okay. I see what you're saying.
I don't understand that myself...unless they're only producing them in the quantities that are established by the sales of previous waves...
I think I stopped making sense several words ago.
I don't think it's to get that extra shipping cost...
;)
Well, this is good news for me, but bad news for just about everyone else. Sounds like it's good news for Ave Q.
There was an article on Yahoo explaining that they'll probably get more money out of it this way than on tour anyway...
If retailers won't pick them up and they still want to try to get them to consumers...that's gonna be the easiest way to do it.
Such hostility.
:sympathy:
That depends entirely on the sales for these next ones...and I wouldn't consider them "sets" anymore, but individual releases.
We'll see--I'd love to have another Electric Mayhem set.
:halo:
Do I have qualms about Muppets playing Nazi? Well, sure I do. But Beaker's an idiot. So there it is. And there HE is, as Dietrich, the Nazi Commander from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
