    Ever Noticed.....

I know lots, okay maybe not lots, but some people who seem like their psychologically age 4. If he was like a dog, he'd be 28 though, right? If Grover is psychologically age 4, how old is Elmo? Some sort of negative numbers? Grover has a much larger and more developed vocabulary.

Danny Horn, we need to talk

I read the article at TP. Danny should just refer any of his "Neediest" riff-raff to Muppet Central. I could name the forums that would help them off the top of my head. Especially the "Wanted" and "For Sale or Trade" forums. The other information someone here has for sure. There might even...

    Starting a Puppet Team

Armed and Dangerous is performing on the 22nd too. We're doing a version of Little Drummer boy that'd done in a Beach Boy Surfer style. In the spirit of the Muppets, on our back tier, we've got a skateboarding penguin. When in doubt...

    I wanna be special too!

Must be an English thing. I have the same probs as Scary Larry. The reason is that the English are using that new metric calendar, as they abandoned the English system to us Americans. Now it's 10 days a week, 10 weeks a month, and 10 months a year. You can understand why their...

    Kermit on Hannity and Combes

I just caught Kermit on Hannity and Combes on Fox News. I didn't hear most of it, because my dad was talking. But this part was pretty funny... Before Kermit came on to promote the new Christmas movie, there was a PETA guy trying to promote a Turkey free Thanksgiving by eating some Tofu...

    Puppet voices

Hey, I was just at a puppet festival in Grand Rapids this past weekend. I took a puppet voice workshop and the instructor, a ventriloquist, taught a real simple methodology of creating voices. She gave a few different kinds of voices to experiment with. Since you can't hear me, I added little...

    Eyes

We've used white plastic spoons with the handles broken off and then sanded down to the right shape. Also, you can cover just about anything round with white sock fabric for a real cheap and easy way to go. That makes great blacklight puppet eyes.

    it went totally wrong....

Don't feel too bad Bork, Once I tried to make an elephant out of an old pair of gray jeans that I owned. His name would be Jean, (ha ha?) But the fabric had really no stretch at all and I busted 6 of my mom's sewing machine needles. I did finally finish him, but he's definitely nothing to...

    What stands for BTW?

No no. The Bakers Television Workshop is the producers of the Swedish Chef's new PBS program. It features recipes the kiddees can make as well as lovable Lobster Banditos to help Americans learn the metric system. Many of the segments teach common Swedish words to reach inner city...

    Starting a Puppet Team

Beauregard, I was just wondering how your puppet project was coming. Haven't seen anything posted about it. Is it still a go? Markus

how many famous puppeteers for past and presnet are in here

Yeah, this really is the premiere place for Muppet Info. So many things I wouldn't have known until much later unless I hung around here. The Swamp Years release, the elimination of Farscape, working with Antron fleece, the secret weird past of Byron. I always direct anyone with an...

    Mayhem's bus

I hope that bus made it into a museum of some sort or at least some kind of safe storage. It would be a shame if was ruined. Is there anyway possible to trace where that bus went to? Markus

    Puppet SLAM Cincinnati

:) Clears up everything but... what does S.L.A.M. stand for? At your defense, I had to look up nascent as well. "coming or having recently come into existence." Great word. I'll try to integrate that into my vocabulary. Sounds like an event I would love, but can't help you with...

    Disney Job Discrimination

After reading this thread, I know it sounds wacky, but I think it would be awesome to be a costume character at Disney. I'm probably too tall to play anyone but Goofy, (6 ft 3) but I think it would be a privilege to bring to life a classic character that kids would remember forever seeing...

Hilarious Muppet Moments You'd Like To See...

I still want to see the "Three Irishmen" sketch. It already exists and I laughed hysterically just hearing about it. But as far as I know, unless I can get the Muppets Inside CD-Rom there's no other way to see it.:(

Monsters Inc. on Video an' DVD!!!!

Not to actually bring this back on topic...... but I've had about sixteen conversations with people about the Monsters DVD. Seems like everyone I talk to says to some effect, "After watching those extras, I wish I worked for Pixar." I bet Pixar was deluged with resumes after...

    Did Skeeter die

The next film could be a prequel, "The Death of Skeeter." About gangsta rap artists knocking off muppets. Something radical and edgy for adult fans of muppets who hate family entertainment. ;) But seriously, the Muppets, as far as I can see, have never been concerned about continuity...
