    Constantine Replica

For the mole: go to a hardware store/section and buy the little black, felt circles used for furniture legs. They have adhesive on the back. They make great moles and pupils.

    Legs and clothes

Doll joints are the BEST way to attach legs and arms. I used to sew them on until I discovered doll joints. There is no way I will ever go back to sewing them on. As far as pants go, I usually just make a slit in the seat of them and pull my arm sleeve down and out of the slit. I have never...

    Kermit v5 (and last) finished!

I have a hard time with the collar and the body size. Either he is too fat or too skinny.

    Kermit v5 (and last) finished!

Probably to most perfect replica I have seen. It is equal to Terry Angus' Kermit replica.

    Taking Orders Again...

It is a win-win situation. You tell me what you want--I go out and price the material--Then I add in labor and shipping--You send money--I build and ship with constant updates on my progress. I am an open book.

    Taking Orders Again...

Hi everyone! I am on a break from nursing school and am taking orders again for custom-built puppets. The price depends on what you want. I am probably one of the few people who uses a system of "you pay for the material first and I will build it." While most people don't like that concept, I...

    Sewing Kermits Mouth Help

I have made a few Kermits trying all of these techniques and found that the most accurate way to do it is by pinning the mouth plate on then turning it inside out and sewing a very tight ladder stitch.

    Muppetlab Gonzo Replica

Hey! Very nicely done! I have never carved foam before...do you have photo documentation of your process from start to finish? Where did you find the foam and what does the mouth grip look like on the inside?

The film was incredible! It was so nice to get to meet some fellow MuppetCentral people and especially amazing to meet Caroll and Debbie. Here are a few pictures from the event.

    Fan Mail

It is great because some of these were randomly sent by him after we had been corresponding for a while. I will finally get the chance to meet him in May at the screening of I Am Big Bird at the Montclair Film Festival.

    Trying something different

I pulled the mechanism out of my ***. It is basically a coat hanger bent into a right angle and attached to the bottom mouth plate that extends down with various curves in it to give leverage and a loop at the bottom that serves as a trigger. I wouldn't use this mech again because it doesn't...

    Trying something different

Since this was just an experiment, I used oven-bake clay from Joann Fabrics then painted with acrylic paint.

    Trying something different

Here he is painted. The basic body is made, I just need to trim the fur and add extremities and wardrobe. He is a rod puppet and I am happy with the results so far. Just need to perfect the mouth mech and work out a few kinks.

fuzzygobo, are we friends on Facebook? Add me (https://www.facebook.com/Ryancmoore21) and maybe we can meet up at the show. I will be on a work trip in NYC so I will have a client with me (I take care of people with developmental disabilities.)

    Trying something different

Hey fellow puppet freaks! I have started working on a miniature puppet. I am going for "creepy" and disfigured. I gave no attention to symmetry and/or perfection because I want it to look kinda Aboriginal. I still need to paint the face and eyes, finalize the mouth mechanism, and build the...
