Well, in my opinion, if you can afford it get it. I can't stop looking at him. I'm sure until I get the Master Replica it will be one of my favorite pieces of my collection.

I was thinking that before the actual Master Replica comes out, this is as close to looking like the real Kermit as I've seen in a while.

He is about two maybe two and a half feet tall. These Disney statues work really well with Kermit. It almost looks like he is sitting right next to you.

The funny thing is, I didn't see much more variety. Other than the statue and the Animal shirt all they had in the other store (yes, one store) were the same mini-plushes they had at the "Studio Store". Who knows, maybe soon we will all be overwhelmed with the amount of Muppet merchandise that...

Oh yeah, the other cool thing is the collar. It is made of felt and comes off. It stays together with a cool velcro closure. A really nice touch.

And yes, he does have a fuzzy flocking on him. It looks great in person.

The only pin that I saw that you might not have is in Disneyland itself. It's in the pin shop in New Orleans Square. It has Kermit tied up in a rope by Piggy. Very western looking. Not a new pin but it may be something you don't have.

I'll try again. If it's at Disneyland I'm sure they have it at Disneyworld. Just make sure you look in the stores that carry the higher end stuff. I'll try the picture again.

I already own this piece and it is beautiful. It seems as if it selling quite well. It is much better looking than the Kermit on the column. He looks as close to the true size of the puppet as I could imagine. Great piece to own.

So I was looking at the new Toy Review magzine last night and they have a whole page dedicated to Master Replicas. They also had two new pictures of Kermit. They had him on a directors chair and a log. He looked really good. First off they said the paterns were based off of the poseur Muppets...

I would think that Disney would have to give them permission. It's under the Disney line that Master Replicas is producing. If you go to the website(Master Replicas) you''ll see the other Disney stuff they are doing.

Who's damaging the Muppets?

Apparently you missed the whole 70's and early 80's. The Muppets were huge than. Huge, I say.

Why would the Muppets be a "big joke" if about 2000 people owned a replica? It's like having a very detailed plush version of the character.
