If it helps, I'm betting many folks here identify strongly with the characters they've chosen as their avatars. Maybe we don't look like them (frog help us if there's a real Carl out there somewhere...), but we think or dream as that character might. From what I can tell, Piggy suits Ru, Grover...

Plans for tomorrow, anyway: a few chores need doing, but we should have time to continue work on creative projects tomorrow (music & writing). It was a rough week, and next week is likely to be worse, so we're enjoying the opportunity to work on things we deeply enjoy now.

I'm seeing an interesting change in tone in your posts from a few years ago. If you could send a message back ten years to your younger self, what would you say to you?

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? and Sesame Street were faves when I was a tiny bit of felt. The Bugs Bunny - Roadrunner Show and The Monkees when I was 8-10 or so...and of course The Muppet Show! Remington Steele, The A Team, and Simon & Simon as a young teen. Moonlighting, Max Headroom as a teen...

Heya! Yeah, I've been thinking Muppety thoughts of late, so I decided to drop in.

I was just thrilled to be there, and to get autographs and photos with everyone! Kevin Murphy is especially pleasant in person.

All but Joel! But I did back the new MST3K, and Rifftrax (the entire Twilight series, riffed, is one of life's best enjoyments). Witnessing the Parade of Torgos at the second convention was amazing. And seeing the guys riff on This Island Earth live was SO much better than the highly edited...
