Christmas: Are they shoving it down our throats too early?

Olaf's Frozen Adventure finally aired on TV the way it was meant to, clearly as damage control after it was shown before Coco to much vitriol, and I enjoyed it. As a character piece focused on the snowman, it works well, and we even get some more bits and pieces of Anna & Elsa's past. Really...

    20th Century FOX?

No more 21st Century Fox, which succeeded News Corporation. 20th Century Fox (the studio) will still exist.

    20th Century FOX?

But they said heck no to Faux News, so at least there's that.

Video: Mr. Snuffleupagus Reads Mind-Blowing Facts About The Universe

So great seeing some Snuffy love in this day and age. Love his reaction to the snake eyelid fact. :) Imagine how they'd react to Snuffy as he looked when he first appeared! https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/muppet/images/9/9b/Firstsnuffy.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20091112154310

Sesame Street Gets New Executive Producer

Could we see the show move away from the super juvenile focus it's been reverting back to recently? Well, it depends on how much sway an EP has on the creative direction.

The worst/ugliest CGI you've ever seen

The Nostalgia Critic took a look at that, too.

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

Hats off to Pixar for Coco's threepeat last weekend, something that The Good Dinosaur failed to do two years prior in the same Thanksgiving weekend. But Morgan Freeman comedy Just Getting Started, the only new release not counting The Disaster Artist's expansion, hit only 10th place...

    I'd rather have a Cabbit instead. :D

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

With no major releases this weekend, Coco was able to get a clean sweep at the box office. It should have some nice long legs until the next two weeks when Star Wars: The Last Jedi drops in. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/?yr=2017&wknd=48&p=.htm

    Favorite/Least favorite Christmas songs

I always make it a priority to listen to "Christmas at Ground Zero" and the extra gory version of "The Night Santa Went Crazy" by Weird Al every December. :)

The Saddest thing that reminds you that you're old...

Aren't typewriters going through a renaissance of sorts among the younger generation? Plus, there are third-world countries that still rely on those things because of limited power and Internet access, so they're not completely dead. Also, I'd love to get me one of those transparent typewriters...

The NOW series actually began in Britain in 1983, and they're currently into their 98th release! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Now_That%27s_What_I_Call_Music_(original_UK_album)

Behold... the New Teen Titans Cartoon...

Oh man, that was a delightful blaze of meta glory. The Titans, worried about their universe literally vanishing, go into the real world where they meet the TTG cast and crew, and even their own voice actors. Loved how Tara Strong did brief Bubbles, Timmy Turner, and (Twilight) Sparkleface...

Weekly Box Office and Film Discussion Thread

Just like I had predicted, Coco was the big hit this Thanksgiving weekend (including Tuesday and Wednesday previews), and certainly improved upon their last release during that weekend, The Good Dinosaur. Justice League is clinging to 2nd, and Wonder at 3rd...

Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie premieres tonight at 7pm/6pm central on Nick!

I agree that Lila was pretty annoying, especially past her debut episode where she was more sympathetic seeing as how she was close to heading to the poor house. But I did like the chemistry she and Helga had, with Helga coming to Lila for friendship advice as in the masquerade episode, and her...

Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie premieres tonight at 7pm/6pm central on Nick!

I do recall Craig wanting that, yes. Oh, another thing I would like to see him make into a series? Party Wagon, which was a 2004 TV movie pitched to Cartoon Network. It was a coming-of-age story set in the Old West. That's something I would like to see Craig move onto instead.

Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie premieres tonight at 7pm/6pm central on Nick!

It's been a loooooong time in the making, but I'm so glad The Jungle Movie has finally happened! So many call-backs to past episodes both obvious and subtle, many of the kids got their time to shine (even an allergic-reacted Eugene!), and what closure it got for main character especially. :)...
