Any segments or film inserts you couldn’t stop thinking about?

I always loved the four “Geometry of Circles” animation pieces. The six circles, each a different color, formed by and splitting into various geometric patterns, remind me of dancing. The music would stick in my mind, and sometimes I would find myself about to sing it.

    Dreams about Muppets...

Had a dream where I was on the verge of panicking about something. Gobo, wearing one of his hats and holding his gourd guitar, looked up and said, “Easy... easy...” I wish that he’d been playing his guitar. A tune from him would have calmed me down.

    Dreams about Muppets...

Last night, I dreamed that I met Frank Oz and that we were talking about the ways in which we had the same sense of humor.

    Dreams about Muppets...

Had another dream about Fraggle Rock. I was feeling sad and hopeless about something and was telling Wembley about it. He listened silently, then held out his arms, and we hugged.

    Dreams about Muppets...

I dreamed it was December and that I was at a Christmas party Richard Hunt was throwing. He gave me a shoebox full of wonderful gifts, including a perfume bottle, made of red glass, that hung from a gold chain and looked like a headless woman. For my face there was a bottle of sea buckthorn oil...

    Dreams about Muppets...

I dreamed I was telling Richard Hunt that one of my favorite characters he performed on Fraggle Rock was Gillis.

    Dreams about Muppets...

Had another dream about Fraggle Rock. Boober couldn’t sleep, so he decided to do some laundry. But he realized he had run out of rock soap. So he picked up his laundry basket and was wandering all over the Rock, looking for that soap. He even wandered into Gobo and Wembley’s room, waking Gobo...

    Gone But Not Forgotten

Bump. Here’s another copy of Mudwell singing “Just a Dream Away.” And here’s a copy of Wembley singing it with the Lizard, and then Mudwell singing it again at the end of the episode when Wembley looks back on their friendship.

    The Brothers Quay

Wow! I just watched “Big Time.” Impressive animation. Wallach has talent, all right. I think I saw the segment with Rachel just once. I don’t know why it wasn’t shown more often. I liked the animation and found the music memorable.

    The Brothers Quay

Bump. I found the film on Muppet Wiki. Apparently Rachel is going skating with her friends but is nervous about going down a large hill. She attaches her skates to a crate and rolls down in it.

What song can you not get out of your head?

Today I saw on TV that the westbound lanes of the Bay Bridge leading into San Francisco from Oakland had been shut down due to Pro-Palestinian protesters demanding a cease-fire in Gaza. This song started running through my head:

The “What did you do today?” thread

I spent part of this afternoon meditating on the Solemn Mark of the Fraggle. Since I can't get a picture of it to upload, here's the Muppet Wiki link about it, complete with image: https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/The_Solemn_Mark_of_the_Fraggle

    Dreams about Muppets...

Last night, I dreamed that Wembley could fly... not just three flights, like in the episode “Wembley’s Flight,” but that it was a permanent power. I also dreamed that he had a friend, another creature who could fly, and that I suggested they could discuss flight techniques.

    Where does Doc live?

I know that Fraggle Rock was made in Canada. Does that mean that Doc and Sprocket lived there, too? I know they lived near a seashore for most of the series, then moved to a desert area in “Change of Address.” I’d just like to know what country they’re in, as I am writing a short story.

You might be an obsessed Muppet fan if...

...hearing “Top Hat, White Tie and Tails” makes you want to tap dance in a big vat of oatmeal.

    Dreams about Muppets...

Last night, I dreamed that Richard Hunt was holding Gorg auditions. The Fraggle Five and their performers were there, too, to see how well you’d do at chasing and otherwise interacting with them.
