I'm sure the producers at Simpsons weren't looking for all the bells and whistles for puppets for a one-off skit. What they did get right was hiring the right puppet builders who made some pretty spot-on likenesses. I would venture to guess that the idea that anyone "blew this" will be the...
Michael Earl was back in NYC this weekend for another round of classes with Puppet School. I took the Puppet Building Workshop with him and Roberto this past Thursday and it was just a great time [no big surprise]. I would obviously recommend these classes if you ever get a chance. Check Puppet...
Would love for people to post here as well for the rest of us to see. Living in NY, I would love to see some Muppet attractions for myself [if they exist]. Are Kermit's flipper-prints still outside of the old Muppet workshop? I would suggest tickets to Avenue Q even though it's not Muppet...

We grew up in a time when most local theatres had no more than 2 screens. We had 3 local theatres within our neighboring towns so, you couldn't count on every...
Thanks for starting this thread Chris. It was especially inspiring for me to read "im pushing 40...and i consider this the happiest time of my life all because of finally pursuing puppets as a career of sorts..." I also relate to the stories of sitting in a soul-sucking job for the last 10...
