let me preface this by saying that i am by no means a cheapskate... but the costs of opening the theater continue to mount up.
that being said i am in the market for a wireless mic set up and was wondering if you guys think this would suffice for a small venue...

i live in a fairly small town... and our puppet theater is in dire need of atleast one more puppeteer....
i am a little nervous about an open casting call... being that its children's entertainment... i dont want any shady characters sneaking their way into my child friendly environment under...
this is still very much a work in progress... but these are the BEFORE pics... hopefully have the AFTER PICS in a month or so...lol

you know that feeling...2 days before a vacation... or that feeling when your on your way to best buy to purchase a new toy...lol...
well thanks to puppets...i feel that way every day!
every day i get to go into my puppet theater and piddle....paint stuff... imagine stuff...design stuff...
the space im planning to rent for my puppet theater has this big support pole/beam directly to the right of the stage....and although its not in the way... it is a bit unsightly...
so my plan is to turn it into a faux tree...with a cute face...and a large limb that hides my lighting rig... see...
i read in an article somewhere that there are less than 50 puppet theatres in the US... is that true? seems crazy to me...
i made some calls to some rentable spots at a local plaza that has various antique stores / candle stores / mom and pop places and is in a wonderful little pedestrian plaza...
just wondering if anyone else experiences this during live performances...and what tips you might have
at one point in my show...my main character is in the air for 11 minutes straight... i start to feel the burn about 8 minutes in...
the way my stage is set up... we stand behind a short...
ive been working on a second show idea for my puppet company... in order to book shows for repeat customers and off new and exciting characters and story lines...
and i thought of doing an exotic bird show...utilizing the AXTELL bird line of puppets...

great performer...businesswoman and PR genius! to pile on to all that she was also a kindergarten teacher and has experience with youngins...hahaha
so i recently designed a new business logo for us...
im doing a big show soon for some close friends and they asked if i could do a sculpture of our main character "gabby" for the top tier of a large cupcake display
bare in mind... i hadnt touched clay since 1st grade...lol
