I'm so excited about the nomination! I have a really good feeling that "Man or Muppet" will take the award but if it doesn't, at least The Muppets will always be called "the Academy Award nominated film". Sometimes the nomination to some is just as good as winning. :) Featured below is a...
I would totally love the movie to win an Oscar or just be nominated for anything! They say the Golden Globes nominations are usually about the same as what the AMPAS nominates too (sometimes). Unfortunely, The Muppets got snubbed by the Globes this year! SUCKS! Hopefully the Oscars will do...
Something I've noticed over last month since the movie was released, is that the price in certain stores for the DVD sets of The Muppet Show went down. They had been around $25-35 dollars and several places I went to had a price change of $20 dollars. This might be a way for Disney to sell...
I loved the Land of Gorch! SNL writers had a tough time writing good skits for them so some episodes were better than others. But either way, the characters were really funny. I wish they could have lasted longer but if they had, we wouldn't have seen The Muppet Show when we did. :)
I feel there could be some way that all parties could be involved somehow. If the fans speak loud enough... Disney might be able to pull some strings. I hope? :)
I taped the MFC special on VHS in 1993 when it aired on Nickelodeon's Sunday Night Muppets. The version I taped features Fozzie meeting the Snowman and the sequence with the Muppet Babies. In 1998, I bought it on VHS and was sad to know that both of those spots were cut on it. I'm happy that...
MTI absolutely cracks me up but as for the music, some songs are better than others for me. Some tracks give the movie alot of life and then others tend to drag on and on. I always felt that the kid that played Jim Hawkins always sang in the wrong key. I don't know why they had him singing so...
I think that's awesome that Jim would keep up with past Muppet Show guests. I kinda figured he would have anyway because he was such a nice and down to earth guy. Those signed books are really great! I would love to have one signed! :)
Of all the figures I was missing, it had to be Zoot! The toughest one of all to find (besides the Jim Henson figure). I finally bought him and got him in the mail the other day and I've had the same problem! I can't stand him up without his stand because the figures joints are extremely...
THIS ROCKS!! I'm so excited! I hope this will not only bring more Muppet movies or TV shows/specials but I also hope it will get Disney to release more old school Muppet things on DVD as well as maybe build a "Muppet Studios" attraction at one of their theme parks. TOTAL MUPPET...
