Let me just point something out quickly, John - I talk about that in my upcoming review. I've already written that specific section, so don't go around crediting yourself when it comes to air. :p
By the way, happy (belated) birthday! :)
That certainly explains why somebody would say "Oscar...
Even as an atheist, I have to admit that it took guts to do. Although it's not the only modern children's show to tackle it (Barney and his friends once sang "O Little Town of Bethlehem" with a nativity set, and the Wiggles' Christmas videos are chocked full of religious songs), it's certainly...
OK, I just finished watching it.
It was alright. Pretty boring, though. I guess I just like the more traditional episodes over these big "epic" ones. Only major complaint, though - The songs were pretty bad. :o
I was joking - Sort of over-playing the fanboy sterotype. ;)
While I doubt Barney will be in the parade this year, I'd be a very nice (Or, should I say Super-Dee-Duper) surprise if he does.
I remember seeing it years ago. Bert and Rosita do a nativity play, which is kind of interesting (I think Cookie Monster was one of the three wisemen, who brings cookies to the baby... then eats them... :insatiable:), but hey, you can see that on YouTube.
Elmo also visits Santa at the end...
Well, to be fair, I think I would rather watch A Special Sesame Street Christmas than a full hour of Elmo's World. :P
But yes, I'm quite happy to own the other two. I can finally retire my VHS copies. :)
So, here's what happened:
Today, I did my Christmas shopping (ALL of it; You will never find me in a store in December - I care too much about my personal safety), and I walked on into Toys 'R' Us and, it happened... I finally bought Happy Holidays from Sesame Street!!!!
Thanks to my first...
Ah sweet. Thanks for being so understanding.
This was basically my response to a bunch of people asking to cameo in videos. Basically, a Christmas present. I mean, hey, I already have a cameo. :D
Just in case anybody is interested, I'll be collecting cameos for my review of A Speical Sesame Street Christmas throughout these next two weeks. (Entries must be in for Friday, November 23rd)
Here's the information video:
Blessing? Yes. Blessing in disguise? No. Here's why:
I'm getting this thing for free!
Now there's a chance now me owning Christmas Eve on Sesame Street on DVD before owning this! :)
I know - But if somebody's being difficult with me, I can just pull out my iPod and play "Yakkety-Yak". :P
Thanks for the encouragment! :)
I'm aiming for a mid-December release, but I'm not sure if that'll be possible, seeing how they have to ship me a new DVD, which probably won't be in my hands for another two weeks. Still, it'll be up before Christmastime, and I'll post here with the video when...
