I thought it was awesome. Kermit's part cracked me up. :) Question I have is: who is performing Link? I've been out of touch with which Muppet performers are performing what character lately.
I wasn't sure if this was the right place to put this, but in a deleted scene from "I Am Big Bird", Caroll Spinney talks about a time when he was in front of the camera (he himself, not as Big Bird or Oscar) playing a traveling magician. I've been looking for this scene but I can't find it.
Definitely going for publicity for the show. It's amazing (and yet not at the same time) how so many people are like "omg my childhood is ruined for like, EVER!!" Seriously?
It'll be interesting to see if we get a response from Ricky Gervais. In several interviews for MMW he said how he and...
Just found this, and I agree! I love all of the characters that Camille performed, notably Twitch, Jojo, Miss Belle, and Kai-Lee. I too wonder what she is up to these days.
"Why don't they call it 'Green Nose Day'? No...it wouldn't be the same." :)
It was a very good appearance. I didn't like Rainbow Connection being that fast, but that's a personal thing. Every appearance like this reminds me how great a job Steve Whitmire is doing with Kermit.
I watched this today, and I absolutely loved it. I think what I liked the most, other than all the great footage of Caroll as Big Bird, as well as Jim Henson, Richard Hunt, and Joan Ganz Cooney speaking about him at (what I assume was) a birthday party for Caroll; but what really stuck out at...
I don't know how much of this has already been stated, but I wanted to put in my two cents/what I have heard.
- When people have the same attitude that Miss Piggy did in the Lesle Uggams show (about Sesame Street. "Isn't that the cute children's show with puppets?") about The Muppet Show, or...
It saddens me that he is gone. From what little I have seen of the show (newbie to this show), Doc is a great character and is a great owner of Sprocket. I love when he tries to be more positive about things, and then decides to just forget it all and get mad about not having any water.
RIP...
I think for me, it depends by character. I'll name a few of those characters' moments. I'll try not to take too long.
Gobo: When he tackled Wembley to the ground in "The Secret of Convincing John". Just something about how he ran in and was able to get him on the ground so fast when Wembley...
Wow....I can't believe it. I am more familiar with Prairie Dawn than I am Zoe, as I watched PWMS before actually viewing the street, and I loved Prairie and her piano playing. Thank you Fran for all the great years! We'll miss you, but happy retirement!
lol. I love it. There's a reason Constantine is within my top 5 Muppets. Matt Vogel is doing such a great job and holding up his own with the character. I love seeing all these things with Constantine, especially when he sang the Small World at the end. haha. Thanks for sharing!
I gotta go with Kermit. Maybe a typical answer, but I just love him for his adorable voice, but also the way he's able to put up with everyone else's weirdness and craziness.
