Sam and Friends Book Read our review of the long-awaited book, "Sam and Friends - The Story of Jim Henson's First Television Show" by Muppet Historian Craig Shemin.
My original post was mostly a joke about the incredible fuss that gets caused over some things, and not over others.
i.e. Muppets/Gaga everyone hates/this, everyone loves
Miss Piggy saying "I gotta pee!" in MFS everyone hates/this no one has a problem with.
I, personally, have no issue with...
THIS was a strong, incredibly great Muppet appearance. Statler and Waldorf had original content that was truly funny, Miss Piggy's dressing-room sequence in which she thought that Robbie Williams was some kind of stage-hand was amazing and her finale-note in their duet was Never-Before-Style...
I love the extended version so much. The Chef has so much expression! I especially love the incredible Puppetry work with the chopping for Beaker and Sweetums "dancing" with chef Ramsey. Utterly amazing.
Bea:zany:{My still-bitter-about-fan-reaction-to-Gaga-self would like to add: Are we REALLY...
I sure hope that Gaffer the cat is in this. And that each and every Muppet on screen gains significant character development throughout. Also, each and every joke had better be 100% perfect and right on the money, otherwise they might as well not bother...
You got that right... I've been searching all over for little clips this morning because its not aired in the UK yet. So far I've seen a cute little backstage talk (with an incredibly awkward Gaga, but charming enough Kermit), an flanderized Karate chop (I'll give you that), some amazing...
I find it geekishly cute that Gaga has clearly convinced herself that they really are/were something of an item and Kermit is clearly just going along with it for the awkward comedy value. She's got that "shy-girl Gaga" character out and its fun.

I just have one question though...is that really Kermit!? Or is it the same Kermit that showed up with Gaga to that show that one time. In that piano scene, something is completely off about him.
He kinda picks up his normal...
Ru, dear! Its lovely to see you. I too have tried to keep up with the thread, but don't recall seeing whether or not you had reviewed the trailer at all yet? I'm interested to hear your thoughts!
I didn't have time to properly explain earlier, but I'll just pop back in to do so now.
Here's a few reasons I (genuinely) prefer this trailer to the MMW trailer:
1. It's calm, relaxing, and fun
2. Arm-rods (they look like Puppets!)
3. Doesn't look too scripted, too clean-cut, too glorified in...
Um....gotta say I love this trailer! I'm actually AS excited for this as I am for The MMW. #justsaying #hugegagafan #thinkthishasabetterposterthanMMW #andmuchcalmertrailer #lesschoppy #morehashtags
I guess it depends what the point is. I still think this place exists for a reason -- its a different outlet to Facebook, etc, in that you know that your voice will be heard by people who at least know what you are talking about. ("Foo-Foo is back!" is greeted with, "I wonder how Floyd feels...
