Your Thoughts: The Muppet Show Comic Book

Oh please. DT Wolf, you got it all wrong. Comics are meant to be distorted and strange, off beat if you will. It was a miraculous tribute to everything Henson. Langridge hit every beat... Just great. I felt like a kid again. He certainly got it right.

Your Thoughts: The Muppet Show Comic Book

It's explained that the letter was from a cousin telling him that the tree where he was born was pulled down to make way for a new butterfly overpass.

UNBELIEVABLE! Roger Langridge did a superb job. A beautiful tribute to The Muppets and Jim Henson, finally! Highly recommended. I can't wait for the next issue! :flirt:

Unofficial Script Review of the New Muppet Movie

What I like about the "Teaser" above is that it seems to be centering around a true nod to the original Muppet Show. With guest stars and the muppets trying to put on a show. Still, it's hard to read this second hand input and get a clear understanding. I couldn't help but to laugh at...

That is what I was suggesting with my earlier post. Meltdown said "tentatively" which means it may not hit on time.:boo:

If JIM HENSON was alive TODAY

I think if Jim were alive today all of his children would be grounded. Well, maybe not Lisa. She went forward.

Your Thoughts: Miss Piggy on Today

Oh god not another muppet purist... I can't take it. Miss Piggy has always been a ***** even in the early days. It's called comedy. If you want everything to be rosey little kids jokes, take it over to Sesame Street.

Your Thoughts: Street Gang – The Complete History of Sesame Street

The New York Times printed an excellent review of the book that reinstates the view that Henson wasn't into "kiddie" humor: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/16/books/16book.html?em

Disney greenlights "The Muppet Show" comics

I do not feel slighted or ruffled in the least. It's a healthy conversation as far as i'm concerned and it's nice to see a dedicated fan/artist. We can safely agree that we are all very lucky to see such a thing in production...! I, for one, will be pestering my comic book store and camping...

This is to Lowercasegods: I've looked at your previous posts and I see no post that mentions you've read this particular comic from front to back. You've said you've checked out this and that online... Where is your full review of the content, storylines, etc...? I'm confused. How could you...
