1. On one hand, I love that the fandom is so small that we seem to have some kind of happy, passionate bond about the Muppets. And we don't need the drama that other fandoms have, believe me. On the other hand... it's lonely!

Ah, a fellow Pokeshipper :) I'm a big anime fan myself, so I realize that long shows tend to get yearly or frequent movies. I stopped watching Pokemon movies about... 10 movies ago I guess XD
I stopped watching Pokemon around the Orange Islands season. They should have ended it years ago, I agree, but I guess as long as new Pokemon games come out and sell well they will keep pushing it.
Actually, I was the "best friend who moved away." I used to live in Virginia but moved when I was 13. I still miss my friends very much and wonder what happened to them.

I really miss the 80s, even though most of it is kind of a blur. It was just so much fun, probably because I was a kid ;)
I have to say, while I love Futurama, I don't like the direction they seem to be heading in. I liked them better when they simply had harmless innuendo, now they are just going all out. Case in point: Amy's dominatrix outfit :/ The ending to the second episode made me completely uncomfortable...
