Could some Muppets be considered violent?

I think that the general answer is, yes, the Muppets can be violent. The bigger question is whether or not that is an issue. I don't think it is a problem. As Ilikemuppets has already pointed out, the violence in TMS is very cartoony, and Looney Toon-ish, meant to be silly rather than...

    The most tear-jerking Muppet moment...

That is a beautiful moment. I absolutely love her episode of TMS, and that song is the perfect climax. I bought the MP3 from Walmart.com (her solo recording, sans Muppets) and while it is still good, it is nowhere near as breathtaking as in the show.

Why, yes, I think they could. ;)

Remember Pinwheel? That was another SS-clone.

    The Wishing Song

Oh silly me. I suppose you're right. But I have to say that I prefer it when they don't talk. When they sing songs with just "bawk-bawk-cluck" it is so much funnier. :D

    Muppet Influences

I think that Sesame Street was a very large and very direct influence to Between the Lions.

    The Wishing Song

Yeah, but unfortunately, the track on the CD replaces Madeline Kahn's dialogue with dialogue from some random chicken. Which is absurd, because even in the Muppet universe, chickens don't talk.

I don't know if I'd like food that punches my face. I prefer non-violent food.

    Favorite Muppet Movie Quotes

I like the part in MTI when Long John talks the pirates out of hanging him, and Clueless and Polly are praising him: Clueless: "You're wonderful! You're beautiful! You're, uh..." Polly: "Precious." Clueless: "He's precious!" :) Not so funny typed up, but their delivery and the way the...

    Favorite Musician Muppet

I have always thought that Janice was just it. Even as a kid, I liked Janice's mellow, groovy personality without necessarily realizing it as such. In more recent years, I've come to have a profound love for Dr. Teeth, too. He is one of the most beautifully designed Muppets in the whole pack.

Curly fries are way better than regular fries. But you know what's even better than curlies? Waffle fries. Mmmmm.....

    longer music numbers

"What the Simple Folks Do" is from Camelot, and it is too long and kinda boring in that context, as well. It is just so stinkin' repetitive. After the third verse or so, it's like okay, we get the point. STOP SINGING. Even when Julie Andrews and Richard Burton sing it.

    The Official "Office" Thread!

That sounds pretty... dumb. I mean, Andy's a great character (one of my faves) but I cringe at the thought of a whole series about him. As for adding a new character to spin off from, part of what makes The Office so wonderful is its unique format and humor. Anything trying to riff off of...

The middle seasons of Family Matters were the best. I fondly recall the Halloween episode where Urkel rescues Laura from Vampire Carl, Harriette, and Rachel. :)

    The Official "Office" Thread!

That's interesting. I don't see how a spin-off would work, but my curiosity is piqued.

Yeah, and when Scooter finds out that Gonzo is loco at Cape Doom, he sees a nice chance for capitalism and runs off to make T-shirts!
