It could be a scratch on the disc or maybe a compatibility problem with your dvd player.

Was that in the big Myer store in Melbourne city? When I went to melbourne I remember seeing some great window displays but they werent sesame street.

If I knew that I'd be into it myself! Anyone can make their own films at home tho using the same thing. I've even done it with a simple digital camera and clay before.

You can get top of the range dvd burners here for about $70 AUD (less than US $) and they are ones that write to DVDS! so im sure you could pick up a normal dvd rom drive very cheaply. i did a quick search on ebay for you...

I received these stamps today from my puppetry teacher as he was in the US when they were released and said he would send some which was nice of him. Thanks to everyone for their help on how to order them.

You dont need a scanner or printer. the print screen button captures whatever is on the screen and prints it to the system clipboard so if you use a copy and paste function in some graphics software it should come up. Its usually easier to just click the capture button in the dvd player...

luckily it was only a storage unit so as it says above it wont affect any future projects. Luckily it wasnt actually in the studios and noone was hurt.
