THANK YOU. I've expressed numerous unpopular opinions on here (such as when I said I didn't like The Muppets (even though I gave perfectly legitimate reasons for it), and gotten nagged for it (it seems the "OMG-how-dare-you-express-an-opinion-that-most-people-don't-share" mentality thrives on a...
Hmmm...not sure how to respond to this (being a light-skinned black woman). A lot of women (of every ethnicity) who seem to have "attitude problems" actually don't; they just seem to, because they feel they have to be tough, or put up a tough front, to protect themselves (for some of them, this...
Unfortunately, this mindset is one that's been around for a good while (that light-skinned black people are more "acceptable" than those with darker skin; even some black people have internalized it-hence the existence of things like skin-lighteners). It's sad.
Drank/ate a smoothie for breakfast (it came out more ice cream-like than smoothie-like), worked from 9 to 3, came home, hung out with my brothers and dog for a while, ate dinner, took a shower, wrote a little, and am now web-surfing.
That's another thing (sorry, I didn't say all I wanted with my rant on that show). The writing on it was a lot less clever than the writers probably thought. Characters just being sarcastic little twits 24/7 isn't funny; funny sarcastic characters take a break occasionally. Also, aren't Jimmy...
Feminine male does not equal gay, necessarily. This is exactly the sort of thing I was talking about (regarding my last post on this, I'm not even sure why people think Wiggins, Gov. Ratcliffe's sycophant in Pocahontas, was gay. He was effeminate, but I always just thought he was a typical...
I agree. My mind is blown by how much of a following that show has. None of those kids are likable; the main character is an arrogant jerk who I often wish the villains would defeat, Cindy is also really annoying and has a voice that makes me want to tear my ears off (and she's mean to Jimmy...
I've noticed that the TV Tropes community seems a bit obsessed with seeing latent homosexuality everywhere (the Beauty and the Beast page and the Pocahontas page list Cogsworth and Governor Ratcliffe as ambiguously gay, because their voice actor recently came out. How does that make any...
Yet another villain question! I don't really get the "Draco in Leather Pants" mentality that exists in fandom (wherein fans downplay a villain's...villainy because they find him or her attractive). If you find a villain attractive, that's fine, but why do some feel the need to try to go out of...

Not much on it; just a couple pictures of a comic series I had in the works that's been in the works FOREVER. In fact, I just recently started using DA again, mostly for adding villain fanart and stamps to my favorites.
